@amiablePeace77. Hi 2 people that I knew moved away from the area. I recently got texts from both saying that they miss me and to keep in touch. That was a nice surprise. Also many restaurants have put tables outside where I live. My partner and I have found that we enjoy a cup of coffee outside.

Friend. Glad to hear about the persons contacting you and the coffee. Maybe it's all a part of Gods blessings to you (remember I wrote a sentence about that the other day?).
So I see your blessings and I remember our friend Brad Pitt in a movie from Himalaia (maybe). I think he and his friend was in love with the same women (maybe). One was jealous because of the happiness of the other and he said: "We have a buddhistic word; A mans happiness is the other mans blessings." So therefore - I'm blessed also because of your blessing. Ha.ha.

@amiablePeace77 the thought of going into the deep freeze each year is something I don't look forward to, but it is part of life in the northern environments. But when it actually happens like today, I realize that spring is on the way, it just is coming on a very slow boat. lol.

What is something nice you experienced with someone this year you never expected to happen?
This year I met a young lady in another country online and started chatting with her over a shared subject. I learned that she wanted to go back to school but could not afford it and her confidence was destroyed by her family. I chatted with her and helped her get her confidence back. I am fortunate enough to be able to support her financially to go back to school. This has been a major good point in my life this year.

I got to go to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, finally. I'd never been there before. I went with a woman who worked at the community center where I go for peer-to-peer support groups. Unfortunately, they fired her a month later. She was the best facilitator there! We had fun at the aquarium, though. Neither one of us had ever been there.
