I have always wanted to try yoga. I never got around to it. But recently, as I have gotten older, I said to myself, “if not now, when?”. So I signed up that day, and I love it!

God bless you, Peace. I'm so glad for you living a large part being self-sufficient. :) It's so important to be self-sufficient. Is that a pic of your bike?

I've always wanted to be a singer. I chased it a little, but have chosen other paths that are reasonable and level headed. Hence working toward being a research librarian. Now that is my goal. One last dream I want to try is living in Hawaii or Australia. Little by little I am gathering information on doing so after (and if) I graduate as a librarian. I want to live the rest of my life in paradise, living my dream.

What have you always wanted to try? Is there a dream that you’ve always wanted to chase?

I want to travel, but I'm too scared to travel more than about 20 miles from home (and there's nothing around here to see). I also can't afford it.

I want to write, but my mind is always in too much of a whirlwind to do it.

I always wanted to make a living with my talent. I got a lot of encouragement. But...you remember that Joni Mitchell song "Both Sides Now"? It has a lyric: "So many things I could have done, but clouds got in my way".

That's me. Too many clouds. Now it's too late.

As I draw closer to retirement and KNOWING (which breaks my heart) will be alone when I do retire (age difference).
I perceive I will be selling everything and moving to another country such as Lisbon, Portugal.
Why there?
1. Cost. It is perceived that the cost of living would be around 1500 a month.
2. Style - From what i have read, it is a place where you don't need a car.
3. Safety - People like me. Need to be aware of the surroundings.

OK, so what does this mean?
For me, it is a bungalow with my dog. Wake and walk my dog to the local Maw & Paw coffee shop. Sit on patio of the coffee shop drinking a cup of coffee and my dog laying on my feet (Dog seem to enjoy touch you all the time.) while reading the local paper as to what is going on today.
Finish my cup wave to the locals as we leave. On the way home stroll through the local stands, because I need food for the day. pick up a few cold cuts for lunch and something for dinner.

Rinse and repeat for the next day.

Simple, not complex. Highest stress would be Shop out of coffee, local stand no cold cuts or bread.
Worst stress EVER, puppy poops on the street and I need to clean it up!!
