@SunShineAlwaysGrateful. My Christmas should be quiet and peaceful. My partner and I will eat Chinese food on Christmas Day. I also plan to attend a mindfulness discussion here.

How do you ensure you have a peaceful holiday? Control my atmosphere

What boundaries do you have in place to keep you in place where you protect your mental health? 

I have no boundaries but to ignore any offences and walk away

Oh, Lord, Grateful.  The light in my laptop is fading off and on and my hearing in my good ear is fading, too.  This is only part of what has been going wrong in my life that I need money for.  

How do you ensure you have a peaceful holiday?  I am staying away from people who have not been nice to me.

What boundaries do you have in place to keep you in place where you protect your mental health?  I plan to take care of chores, maybe one each day, while I am off work between the semesters.  (The school closes for two weeks--no pay.)

How do you ensure you have a peaceful holiday? 

If I do go to a family gathering, I try to stay outside of their conversations.  I can't get too involved, because they like to belittle me if I do start talking with them.  After dinner, I can put some phsical distance between us, as well, to feel more comfortable.

Physical space and trying to fend off any verbal attacks
