Hello everybody, I hope you all had a peaceful week ❤️
When I go to bed at night I always put a few drops of lavender oil on my pillow, it's such a calming fragrance. I just love it and feel that it helps me to fall asleep.

A scent that makes me feel alive is mint.
I love my indoor mint plant, to the point of holding her pot and letting my face touch her leaves. This plant's scent gives me hope and tranquillity.

@amiablePeace77, indeed I am! I found that rubbing the velvety hair from the leaf itself gives off a stronger scent that stays on my fingertips. I absolutely love the earthy clean smell of my mint plant. 🙂💚

1. the scent of rain which i have read is ozone, mold, and dirt. So, yummy ozone. :)
2. my marigold plants. When I touch them, which is frequently because they are so big and keep falling over in their pots, that scent just sends me away from all other thoughts. I keep thinking that flowers are what Heaven must smell like. :)
3. before I go to sleep, i like to put on a spritz of very nice perfume. When I say very nice, I mean the stuff that they have the scent examples pages of in magazines. When I find one that I really love--and I'm picky about perfume because I'm not going to spend a lot of money on something that I think is so-so--it has the ability to capture my brain and sort of coral my thoughts as I am falling asleep. It puts me into a good place for good dreams.

Thank you for the information, I didn't know this about Petrichor. I can relate to what you said about getting it really right with perfume, it's something very personal. Love marigold, to me they signalize happiness but they are also good to keep garden pests away.
Definitely lavender, but I also like the smell of pine, and smokey campfires.

I hear you, loved the smell of my grandma's cookies. Do you have a favorite cookie type?
Some more scents that I like are clove and cedarwood. Clove is energizing to me, and cedarwood in small amounts, not to strong, gives me a sense of peace.
