Where do you think is the most worthwhile place to find meaning in life? Work, family, hobbies, spirituality, philosophy, helping others, all the small miracles, or something else entirely?
If it is in work, I haven't experienced that. If it is in family, I haven't experienced that, either. Hobbies, spirituality and philosophy wrap up helping others and small miracles for me. It is in gardening that I can become one with the earth and God and even help others. It is in my art that I can touch others and move them in a positive way. It is in dance that I can inspire others to join in and bring a smile to their faces. It is in spirituality and philosophy that I learn about what is bigger than me.

The need for achievement is one of the basic human needs. I personally see my need for achievement fulfilled with volunteer work since my desire from young age on was to make a contribution to this world. What are things you're particularly passionate about?

I like writing, when I can actually make myself do it.
An amazing book that might inspire you … “The War of Art” by Steven Pressfield. It’s all about how to break through creative blocks. Phenomenal little book read by many very accomplished artists of all kinds. 😀

Hi Ami:
Up until a couple of years ago, caring for my parents was important. They are gone, so I no longer have that.
I have no spouse or partner, so there is no romantic relationship to focus on. I am lucky to have at least one friend though.
Given my poor health over the last two years, I have been questioning my spirituality.

@amiablePeace77 I am doing my laundry, and hope to go shopping.
@Offmytrack weekends are a great times for doing household chores.
I also find time for things that help renew my spirit and strengthen me.

Hello Peace, I am sorry if I posted twice. I accidentally closed my window and am not sure if the first one went through.
Your question is what I am struggling with right now in life. I feel like my purpose right now is to grind out a paycheck to support others. I know Jesus has me and that everything I do is to honor and glorify God. However, I just do not feel I understand what my purpose or mission in this life is right now.

Another way to look at a job as a kindness and giving to others of your time, skills and energies in exchange for housing, food, clothes and maybe saving for future needs. Keep up the good work.

I understand the activity but personally I am finding it difficult to even ponder positivity. I used to be active in work, church, volunteering, etc. As of late, I have been reminded and faced with issues
