Giving presents. Family is separated by many miles... most have given up on giving presents since we no longer get together as a nucleus family group...too many kids to get in one room. But from time to time, I send little things through the mail or through online ordering.

The willingness to explore and reflection can open doors and make us see a whole different, often better world!
One thing that I am good at is pointing out what’s not working. Sometimes too much positivity clouds the view and clarity of the big picture.
As a well oiled (or at least trying to be) it seemed that at times 7 cups looses the individual perspective when it comes to its volunteer listeners like me.

I agree there needs to be a balance, too much positivity can become toxic the same as too much negativity. To me it's about choosing which mindset helps me best.
@endearingLion70 I agree that whitewashing does not help make things better, but being over critical makes me feel terrible too.
What works for me is an honest evaluation of how things went and a questioning of what I can do better next time.
