Do you smile enough?
Even on days when I feel down it puts a smile on my face to see the beautiful flower bouquets in the house. They are not all natural flowers but a mixture of artificial flowers and natural plants since cut flowers usually don’t stay very long because of the heat. To me having a vase with some flowers in it gives a room a welcoming and warm atmosphere and makes me always smile and boosts my mood. Smiling, though, makes much more for us. It also helps our bodies release cortisol and endorphins that provide numerous health benefits.
What inspires you to smile every day? Is there anything in your home that you put there intentionally to make you feel good? If not, would you consider putting something there and what could it be?

No, I don't smile enough. I do have things that make me smile. I have little, purple Christmas tree lights in my bedroom and candles. It makes me feel very cozy. Plus I have my cat, Chloe. She is adorable and never fails to bring a smile to my face.

I have a colorful wooden hand that says “Peace” and is holding up the first 2 fingers, the sign for ✌️. I look at it to slow my mind down when it is racing.

Hi Lauren, nice to see you again in the forum. Having a peace sign in form of a hand is a really good idea! Is it hang up somewhere you can always see it or do you have a special place where you go in your home when you feel unease to calm down?

All I can think of is music.

Maybe the figurines I painted when I was about 13 and 14 years old.
If not, would you consider putting something there and what could it be?
I don't have much space, but I could hang something on my wall, possibly.

I have been depressed for awhile now since my ex boyfriend drowned in his sleep, I discovered that life will always remain what you want it to be so my decisions are to get back on my fit and make life worth living.
looking at my mother picture hanged on my wall do bring a smile to my face.

ami, how nice you have all the wonderful both natural, when you can, and artificial flowers around your house, which bring you such happiness. Glad that brings lots of smiles for you also, as it does help us in those ways with smiling.
some things that inspire me to smile are some wonderful people I know in life, who are just unbelievable-- all, each so wonderful, special, and have such great qualities. I'm also inspired and smile when I can think of ways or things to do to be good to them in ways that they each would like, appreciate, or be helpful for them.

@amiablePeace77- oh my goodness. I LOVE fresh flowers. Their cost may seem extravagant, but often the bouquets last several weeks. FLowers definately make me smile. And of course seeing my horses put a big smile on my face and calmness in my heart.

Wow, I've never seen a sailboat in a home but if home is big enough it could be quite interesting to use it as bed for example. What would you use it for?

Oops, I thought you were talking about a sailboat you're not using anymore 😊. Marina is definitively the better place, I've seen sailboats in people's gardens but I believe they are not using them anymore.
