Hello everyone in the 50+ community, I hope you’re all doing well

When you hurt

We all hurt at times because we are only human. You are not made up of steel that cannot break. You are not made up of concrete that can withstand the strongest of storms. You are made from flesh and blood, you have feelings and you are allowed to feel them, be angry, be sad, be frustrated or disappointed. You will get tired and you are allowed to take a break. It’s okay it's just not healthy to stay like this for a long time. When you are feeling sick with heartache, remind yourself of this.

And remember that you are beautiful, you are beautiful with all of your flaws and insecurities, even if you can’t see it now.
