I'm currently helping some people with some work they need done, but I'd really like to take a friend out for breakfast. Not sure if our schedules are syncing up this week - maybe next week!

I am sure those people are thankful for your help. Hope it will work out the the mutual breakfast. Meeting for breakfast and not always only for lunch or dinner is a very good idea btw

What is something you could do for another person today or tomorrow?
I've been cutting the plants awat from the trees at my mom's house. (don't know why this is in italics.) There are these parasitic trees that grow up through the branches of my mom's evergreens, choking them and killing the them. For several of the trees, it's too late, but I hope I've saved some.

Those invasive or parasitic trees can be a "pain", I know what you mean, we have some here too. Good that you took care of it even if you could not save all the plants. I am sure your mom was happy you helped out.

I gave into my 5-year old granddaughter's begging, and took a break long enough to help she an her grandfather make a pumpkin bread. She doesn't get the concept that some adults are actually working from home, not always free to play-play-play! She did me a favor, though - I was ready for the break, and it made her feel really special.

She is 5 years old, and full of energy! She is very sweet. We played the 5-year-old version of Monopoly after I logged off my computer, which is mostly rolling the dice and exchanging money for no apparent reason. The cards are just not necessary, and we place houses and hotels wherever we want. The pink money and the purple money has far more value than those ugly orange $500 bills. Oh, and I owe her money no matter where I land, even if I claimed that hotel on Park Place as "mine." Makes perfect sense to me!
