@amiablePeace77, I find exercising really helps me feel good. It enpowers me to stay healthy physically, mentally and emotionally. I try my best to exercise for an hour at least 3 times a week.

@faithlove1111
That's great faithlove! There are so many benefits of exercising and also so many choices. What's your favorite exercise, weight lifting as shown ?
@amiablePeace77, The picture above was just for fun, I actually love walking, dancing and occasional gym workout. Of all the exercises, I find dancing pretty challenging. The left and right leg movements coordinating with our arms , wow.. it's not easy as it looks on the TV.
@faithlove1111
Guess they have to practise for some time until it's getting so fluent like they show it on TV . I always try to follow too but sometimes I am going like to the left whilst they go to the right but that's okay, the more I practise the better it goes
.
@amiablePeace77
Enjoy dancing![]()

I love walking but I'm still sad because I miss my dog so much so sometimes I come home in tears which isn't really helpful. Hopefully Neil get a new rescue dog in a couple of months after my daughter has her baby x@faithlove1111
@mooboxer , I am sure an amazing dog will be in your life again and my hugs and congratulations to you for the grandchild who is on it's way to your life
Dream, imagine and feel...
@bledBones
Confidence that nothing can touch me...
I finally found a mindfulness app where I can tolerate the voice. Feel a little better.
@Lauren63
Awesome Lauren, I find the sound of the voice makes a huge difference, reacting myself very sensitive to the sound of voices. Do you mind sharing which app it is?
I don't know what empowers me. Caffeine and drugs I guess. I feel more awful all the time. No one wants me around. People comment that I look like something is wrong but no one really cares. It's like a big eye roll or a joke to them it seems.
@HappyDucky8
Caffeine is good stuff! And when people comment that someone looks like something is wrong, they are usually checking to see if it is OK to ask. Some people want to talk, some don't. So people are sometimes "fishing" to see if you might want to talk about what is wrong. If you don't respond, they will likely think you don't want to talk, and respect your privacy. Of course you don't want to "overshare" and overwhelm people, but if they are mentioning it, they care enough to notice and bring it up.
If you want to talk about it, you can start by talking here. What is it that's bothering you?
@Gardenyarn
yeah but I cannot tell anyone what is wrong
@HappyDucky8
Have you talked about it here?
@HappyDucky8
Hugs Happy, wish those people would rather ask "Are you okay" or "Do you need help" instead of rolling eyes, but unfortunately often people are too much involved with their own internal affairs.
I find talking always helps me, also to find out what is bothering me if I am not aware of it, hope you will connect to a listener 1:1. Hugs.
Setting and reaching attainable goals empowers me. Setting goals helps me accomplish things, and setting realistic goals helps me be easier on myself for not doing a month's worth of work in a single weekend. I am learning to let myself relax, and I am learning to be better at measuring time needed to do things.
Why use a picture of a young woman, smiling brightly, to ask about depression? What? how about a middle aged person who has been so beaten down by life, has no support, kept trying anyway, but couldn't catch a break. Gave up trying and is waiting to die image would be much better. Hopefully someone takes this seriously.
@Lauren63 I don't have the right words to say, but you are in my thoughts.
@amiablePeace77 helping others
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I'm glad to hear that helping others helps you too. It's so heart warming to feel being able to lift off the burden of someone's shoulder for a while.
@amiablePeace77 i totally agree
