@amiablePeace77 - Hi there, this is a great check-in! I am back at university after a long summer break. 5th semester now, so it is exciting and also challenging and I like a good challenge.

I'm not picky about exact locations to visit, although I would love to experience being on an island.

@SoulfullyAButterfly

I wish you all the best for the new semester laugh.

Islands can be very nice to live on, I personally like the coyz athmosphere, what about you, what do you like most in islands and would it be a rather warmer or cooler island?

My week was particularly stressful. There were many tearful moments. I am grateful for my therapist who puts perspective on things. So at this time im fighting myself on whether I want to go to Greece, or New Zealand. Lately I've just wanted to hang out on the Greek islands and sit with my toes in the water. If it's New Zealand, I want to explore their culture and heratige. So I guess my theme if Islands.

@Cammiecat Hi, it's great that your therapist can help you thru stressfull times. I hope that we can be here for you and help you in any way we can.

@Cammiecat

How do you feel now? So sorry to hear that you had such a rough time, it's good that you have a therapist who can get you through it and you can also always connect to a listener 1:1 here heart.

Greece has so many beautiful islands with amazing waters and food. I have never been to New Zealand but definitively would love to go, what I read about it sounds very interesting - guess it will be a hard choice to make unless you could visit them both on different vacations one day.

How did this week go for you, was there anything particularly positive, something you are grateful for? The week has been pretty hard, a lot of difficult things. The one thing I am grateful for is my music teacher, who gave me a list of places I could play at.

enlightenedToday I like to ask you, what countries would you like to visit and why? Good question. One place I have always wanted to visit is Paris, France. The people I have met from France have always been very nice, and I would like to see the Eiffel Tower and walk alnong the Seine. Maybe go to the countryside.

@Offmytrack

Having someone in your life who supports you is truly something to be grateful for.

I hope one day you will be able to see la Tour Eiffel, walk along the Seine, maybe sit in one of the small bistros and enjoy a nice croissant with jam and coffee (if you like that smiley), watching people pass by.

France has a very enchanting countryside too.

@amiablePeace77 I am taking an origami class for a couple of weeks. (Japanese paper folding) I had a nice time in class yesterday. I am grateful for that. I would like to go to Spain someday.

Origami is amazing, I am always so astonished what one can do by folding paper the right way and even better when doing it in a class you enjoy!

Spain sounds great, it has so much to offer, not only the partying side but much more. Would you rather go to the mainland or to an island?

This week wasnt fun. I had a medical procedure that was awful. But I got thru it. As for countries I would like to visit if I could, anywhere its warm. Like the Caribbean Islands, or something like Tahiti.

Lauren, glad that week is over, everything is behind you (Hugs), hope it will improve from now on.

Wow Caribbean or Pacific. I think both are awesome, I love the caribbean, the blue waters, fluffy white clouds, the golden brown sand but Tahiti must be amazing too, just looking at the pictures. Heard they are famous for their black sand beaches.

What attracts you most to them?

@amiablePeace77 to be warm, comfortable. No worries just sand ocean and not thinking 🤔 about anything. Ever again. Not caring. Not wanting anything. Just to be done. Gone. To be finished.

Hello. The week was fine until something that happened like about 3 months ago came back to haunt me. I feel like I can't never get over it. I try hard everyday to forget about it. But it just come right back and haunts me. Sometimes it really haunts me that I can never get sleep.

That sounds like you had a traumatic experience HUGS. Have you considered talking about it to someone? Lack of sleep can make life very stressful, hope things will improve soon.

@amiablePeace77 I wouldn't say it's "traumatic experience". Something happened at a job I had and it just comes back to haunt me. Things from that job just keeps getting into my head and it just makes me not fall asleep at night.

@TheresaFengIt seems that what happened repeats itself over and over again in your mind, that must be incredibly painful and disturbing. I hope that you will find some helpful idea how to cope here
