When I am practicing my meditation, it’s usually peaceful, calm, and quiet. I do a short meditation session in the morning, then a longer one in the evening, most days recently. It’s been hard getting back into it, but it helps calm my mind.

I find meditation very calming too Lauren and believe regular practise is very important so it feels easier to sit down for a while and calm the mind.

Which moments or activities in your day provide you with the most sense of calm and stillness?
First thing in the morning, when I am up before everyone else in the house and have time to sit in peace and quiet, and enjoy my coffee. Once someone is up, that's it the tranquility of the morning is lost.

I, also, like waking up very early in the morning and practicing meditation and taking a walk outside to see the light of day first thing when the sun rises. It's very calming.

That seems like a great way to start the day! I’ve heard that the first 10 minutes after waking up are the most important when it comes to setting your attitude for the rest of the day.

Stillness: Journaling, talking to myself, or just being with myself or listening to myself
Calmness: Anything that involves music. For example listening to music or writing songs, singing along to music, etc

Stillness- Reading a book, sitting on Window in afternoon to observe nature.
Clam-meditation , yoga
@amiablePeace77 Sit in the cold dark with a fan going, the darkness is calming, the cold air is stilling, and the fan blowing is relaxing. Add in a movie to watch.
