Every year on May 29th, the United Nations marks the International Day of UN Peacekeepers. Since 1948, when the first UN peacekeeping mission was established in the Middle East, more than two million men and women have served under the UN flag in more than 71 UN peace operations.

For me the first step is establishing peace within my own heart. Then no matter what is happening around me there is a semblance of peace inside.

How can we make sure that there is as much peace as possible around us?
I spend most of my time at home alone, so I don't have much of a problem with that. My therapist has been encouraging (to put it mildly) me to get out more and get out of my comfort zone. I know she's right, but it's difficult. I don't know where to go.
@WharfRat I like the library. It is quiet and peaceful and I am around people but because I am in a library there is not much socializing going on. The supermarket is an interesting place to do people watching.

By being the genuinely peaceful, loving. gentle, kind, authentic heart, soul, mind and spirit that you wanna see throughout this world everywhere :) If you don’t be the example of what you wanna see, then you likely won’t see it much, that is if you’re even blessed enough to see it at all

By working towards a single global government with intensive granular control over the life of every human being on Earth. Such a state of affairs is the only one that can establish & maintain true world peace.
A single superstate means no more conventional wars. Government control of all media & education would mean no chance for hostile beliefs to germinate. Mandatory genetic screening for all prospective parents & neutering of violent criminals would weed out antisocial traits & gradually improve the human species instead of leaving it to crude blind evolution. Real all-round progress could be made, instead of mere technological change. With the right program in place, interpersonal violence would eventually become an item for history books (or history databases!).
It would mean the end of any kind of liberty or freedom, of course. But those are antiquated ideas, from before the scientific era. Today we know that we live in a deterministic universe, so any notion of "free will" or concepts based on such a notion (like "liberty" or "individuality") are quite mistaken, not to mention naïve.
