1. Put smaller furniture etc. on rollers, example kitchen/office garbage bin

2. Use a tray to carry food to someone that can not eat in kitchen. It helps make serving meals a lot easier. I use metal cake pans or sheet pans instead of a tray. I also let them eat over the tray so if they spill food or drink it is contained on the tray.

3. Using disposable dishware to wash dishes less often.

5. Lightweight crockery for elderly, dignity soup bowls/plates, grip-ware high sided dishes, foodguards

Wow. I have to say nothing. I know I am getting older, but I don't feel older. I have been getting my home remodeled, but nothing related to getting older. I think the only thing I have been doing, is getting rid of clutter, stuff and papers mostly. I heard the ppl in Sweeden, declutter their homes after age 50, to make it easier on loved ones, once they are gone. I thought that was a good idea. So, I am keep the things I really love. Making a box for things I might want to keep in a future small second home, and donating the remainder. Great question. Thanks for making me think about it.

Sorry, I didn't follow the directions.....

@optimisticRaspberries5247

Thanks for sharing, declutting in certains intervals is definitively helping at all ages, hoarding can become a problem. Good idea to keep those things which have a special meaning to you though.

My granny asked for an adjustable bed for a long time, as it's hard to find comfort in an elder age. But now she gets a great variety of bed/sofa configurations just in one piece of furniture. I got this one https://royaltherapysleep.com/. Check it out. May be useful.

@UmarKaboc

Having an adjustable bed and good bedding, like foam pillows can make a big difference, particularly for elderly who suffer from edema or arthritis, which is quite common. Glad your granny finally got what she needed.

Having things easily visible, like having a special place for keys on a wall holder.

@amiablePeace77 Hire a good elder care attorney. You'll need one.
