Vienna, by Billy Joel. It's a very old song, honestly, and I can't tell you why I love it. But I never get tired of hearing it, singing with it. The piano is awesome, the melody is perfect.

When it comes to rock and other popular music, it's impossible to narrow it down to one tune. It would probably be a Grateful Dead song like "Wharf Rat" or "Bird Song", though they're sad songs.
I'll say that my favorite track, because I like the tune, is Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto # 2.
A song with happy memories would be something like "Mr. Dieingly Sad" by the Critters or "Little Miss Sad" by the Five Emprees. They take me right back to the mid-sixties, before the abuse. Those songs work because I don't hear them often. Other songs from that time are songs that I've heard hundreds of times over the years, so they've lost their ability to take me back.
