World Water Day March 22 2023: Be the change

Water is fundamental to all aspects of life. It is essential for human health and well-being, energy and food production, healthy ecosystems, climate adaptation, and more.
The World Water Day 2023 campaign, called Be the change, encourages people to take action in their own lives to change the way they use, consume and manage water.
Some ways to save water in your household are
Install water-saving shower heads or flow restrictors
Take shorter showers
Water your plants with household water (provided you are not using harsh detergents)

You're right about drinking a lot of water, the body and mind need to stay hydrated but nice that otherwise you're mindful with the consumption of water.

Your plants would be truly thankful. One can also install big containers to collect rain water and make a connection to the house so that the toilets can run on rain water.

I live in a rural area and conserving water is important when there isnโt a lot of rain or snow in any given year. It is a way of life here.
Now with that said my dishwasher and washer are on always it seems lol ๐ but when there are issues we are super careful.
It is rare to have a shortage thankfully. ๐๐๐

Seems saving water is a routine for you! Some people installed pipes etc. so that they can use the dish and washer water for their plants.
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful yes it seems like modern life requires a lot of water. I am trying to rethink things. I now hand wash dishes and second use the water.
