What empowers you in your life?
The fact that I have no one to help me do things I seek to learn and find out how to do what I need to do on youtube and other sites along with books. I am Empowered to go beyond my comfort zone.

What empowers you in your life?
I receive some encouragement from a friend and from the people in my support groups. I could use more encouragement! It would be nice if someone could accompany from time to time while I do things, too.

I wish I could accompany you. I can get out but don't have opportunity other than to medical appointments. I don't drive so don't get to leave home for errands or fun. Hopefully you will meet someone to hang out with while you are out.

Nice that you have that support system but I can understand that you would like to have someone at your side at times even if it's just occasionally. Hope there will be someone in future.
Setting healthy boundaries with others empowers me. When I was only 18, I learned that asking people to refer to me as Miss Lastname rather than firstname, changed their tone when they were speaking down to me. I still use this!

Setting boundaries is very hard for me. I'm not even sure I've ever understood what good ones are. I would suppose anytime I'm feeling resentment It is probably over something I should have said a boundary for. I'm just always trying to make room for what other people might be going through and forget about what hurts me until it does it again.

Everyday doing something that needs to be done … functional ways ie chores and organizing or volunteering in my community allows me to be productive …helps me a ton especially when I am in a funk! 💕💕💕💕
Find what brings you J ✨O ✨Y ✨fill your life big and small with that … could be a good coffee or a great friend. 💕💕💕💕

@SunShineAlwaysGrateful This is the view from my deck. I drink coffee here with my cats, and often the dog comes out as well. The birds are plentiful as is other wildlife. I am blessed with this view. It brings me joy and reminds me how truly blessed I am. It is also where I write, exercise, have meals, breathe/meditate/practice my spirituality, stargaze, watch the sunset, and garden.

What empowers you in your life?
This question is an excellent one to keep in mind when things in life get rough.
I think the things that help me feel empowered are know that I have a couple of friends that I enjoy connecting with, having a good relationship with my kids, and also knowing that I'm pretty independent and content with my own company.
I am an introvert, but also seem to really benefit from an occasional positive interaction with another person. That always gives me a boost of "empowerment" :)
