I like decorating a little.  It lifts my spirits.

What is your favorite Christmas tradition and why does it mean so much to you?

I think for us, it petered out when our parents passed away. We use to travel to their homes and spend part of the day, or they would all come over to ours and have a grand feast.

Now we quietly open our gifts at home then head out to our daughters to watch the grandkids open their gifts. 

I'd say the tradition has changed and is no where near the same as it use to be.

Decorating and cooking some nice desserts.

I live in Portugal and we have 'rabanadas' for Christmas: they are so yummy 😋

@amiablePeace77 Sadly I am Charlie Brown at the beginning of the Christmas Show. I started out as the CB at the end. I’m not really looking to alter that, but any love of this season in me has died.

My brother and I ever year put this up somewhere in our homes. Our mom was into ceramic when we were growing up and she made 2 of them for each of us. It is a family tradition for us both.  You lift the tree add a black light bulb or regular bulb and turn it on. I have a little fabric snow like and nade little presents to go under the tree.

Deep cleaning and decluttering is the best. Every end of year I clear out my room and throw away a lot of stuff and donate a lot more. Its always the best to see shelves not overflowing and instead clean and filled only with stuff you use. And shopping for stuff I actually need is also fun 

@amiablePeace77  i was going to say trick or treat. lol , but i guess i got stuck in halloween. Well i am Jewish and dont celebrate but for what i seen i guess is the decorations of the trees, the santa`s the movies and gathering family for celebrating, maybe some day i`ll find someone to tag along with in the festivities :)
