I also find todo lists very useful. They are best when you get to cross things off. That is very satisfying. But I prefer not to share them. Then no one knows if I don't achieve them. 😄

@SunShineAlwaysGrateful. I have a few old fashioned calendars 📆 with extra space to write everything down on. I also write a separate list to help me remember things.

Great post, I find organizing your week is really helpful! I have a note pad in my kitchen to write down any thoughts about what I like to do in future but also a calendar with tasks for the individual days.

I should try that.

My work place provides me with all the usual electronic data, Microsoft office, get organized, tools, yet I don't use them except for the email. I'd much rather go with paper. I have a to do list, similar to the one posted above, for each week, that I use. I also use the desk calendar. Unrelated, but a useful tool for me in staying organized at work, is my Rolodex (am I the only one who still uses one? Is there anyone on this thread who doesn't know what that is?) It has around 50 numbers and contacts and I still use it just about every day.

I have a day planner and wall calendar for home. I keep my work and personal lists separate. My girlfriend and I are huge Harry Potter people and she got me this weekly Harry Potter to do list a few months back. Its got a lot of "extras" other than the list and is a great tool. I especially like the "Habit Tracker"

One other thing I do....we have a white board on the fridge with the days of the week on it on one side and a place to write down the grocery list on the other. Every weekend we write what we are having for dinner each night, write what we need for those dinners in the grocery side, take a photo of the board with my phone and go shopping for the week. The white board, being in the kitchen, allows us to write down something as we use the last of it or get close to using it up, while we are right there in the kitchen using the item. I find it easier than trying to actually type a list in an app with the small keyboard on my phone.
