Helios and Phaethon, I just read their myth just yesterday. Phaethon nearly burnt the entire universe when he found out he could not control the horses of Helios Chariot... be careful what you ask for was the moral? Take heed of advice to change your requests from someone wiser?

The beautiful has an order to it that youth fail to see and to recognize? Only Helios can provide this order in the sunrise and the sunset... how Fun!

@PeterJC Wow, I will need to search that story up too, but so true, that we All at times, fail to recognize and appreciate nature.

Just like W.H. Davies pointed out in his poem "Leisure" :

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Archetypes from mythology are given credit and weight in Chakra Meditation. I want to change/ replace Indian mythology with Greek/Roman Archetypes. Indian Mythology requires me to learn a whole new story set. With Greek/Roman mythology it is just a refresher course. There is no flexibility in organized religion that has retail sales folks. Study of mythology provides flexibility and requires no beliefs.... just stories.

@sunshineDew66 Great question, thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately, I haven't ever done that. We do get regular butterfly visitors in our garden, but I wouldn't ever dare try to hold one! To be honest, the smaller kinds sometimes even scare me because it takes a while to point out that they are nothing more than a butterfly!

@SoulfullyAButterfly Lots of them! There was a class in particular where I would just fall asleep - it was math and we had the notes already. So I would go at least every other week just to check in to see where we were at but used the time to do the suggested practice problems instead.

There were also those I skipped to study for a test or work on an assignment. I would guess there were problem times I skipped to just to do fun things with friends when school stress was building (or just ended) but nothing really stands out.

In jr. high I had a 'skip card' for being on the honour roll - we could use it to do anything we thought was 'educational'. In high school I skipped a few classes for extracurriculars, out of town dance competitions and those kinds of things.

@SoulfullyAButterfly when I was in highschool I had special permission to be late and only went to school until 2 pm because I was a competitive figure skater and trained from 7-9 in the mornings and 2-4 in the afternoons. I had a class that I'd only go to part time because of the way the afternoon periods fell. If I didn't have skating and could go to the class I'd skip it. Might be why I struggles with math
