A Not Quite Goodbye From Heather...
I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU!
As some of you may already know, for the past few months Ive been doing quite a bit of work helping to create our friendly bot Noni! Lately, this has been taking up more and more of my focus and it has become clear that Noni is not a temporary side project, but that she will need a huge amount of continuing work to become all that we're dreaming she'll be.
It's with mixed emotions that I write this. Group support has been my baby for a long, long time. I became community manager just as we initially launched group support, and I've watched it grow and evolve over the past three years. Im sad to say goodbye to it, but the time has come for me to move on and give another person the opportunity to ensure it is a wonderful place for everyone on 7 Cups. Group support needs a lot of dedicated time and attention, and with Noni calling my name, its not possible for me to give it all the love it deserves.
Right now, I'm going to be hopping over to join the product team where I will really focus on Noni and the work that needs doing there. It might be the end of me as group support CM, but it is a new beginning for group support as we find someone new to fill the role and you can, I'm sure, look forward to new leadership and exciting times ahead!
I am going to miss being part of the community team and all of the group support antics! It's been a fun and exciting journey. I want to give a huge shout out to the mod leaders, group support mentors/team leaders, discussion leaders, moderators, listeners, members and guests. Thank you for putting so much of yourselves into this and for all of your hard work. And an extra special wave to those of you who jumped in to lead special event discussions (thank you for your patience with my last minute questions!) and those who came to hang out in the Free Hugs room so many times! It's been an absolute pleasure to work with you all.
But it's not really goodbye. I'm still around and will be throughout this transition period. You can still reach out to me if you need help with anything, or just want to say hi. Whatever you want or need, dont hesitate to ask. Im still here and will continue to be a part of 7 Cups.
Onwards!
Heather we are going to miss you so much <3 You are so awesome! :) WE LOVE YOU!!!! :)
@Heather Best of luck to you in your new endeavours. :)

@Santysan - Heather won't be far away!
@Heather youll definetly be missed in the group support and as our mod manager i understand that something had to give and i understand noni is such a huge project and its indeed exciting good luck in your new role and new leadership is definetly exciting :) but you will be missed im only a pm away :)
@Heather
During my times of hardship, you've believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself. You allowed me the opportunity to grow and evolve into the moderator that I am today and without your belief in me, that would not have been possible.
Thanks for contributing your all to Group Support over the past 3 years, although I am excited to see what you've got in store for all of us. I know you'll rock your new role on the product team, but don't forget about your baby (the group support rooms!) and stop by to say hello every once in a while!
@Heather.. we will miss you..thank you for all your support and I do wish you the best on your project..
Goodbye and good luck Heather! I wish you all the best in your new role :)
Thank you so much for all you've done @Heather. Your contributions to us are greater than words can describe. Good luck at your new role! Can't wait to see what the new Noni will be like
