Hmm That's a tricky one! I would have to say my least favorite thing would be that we cannot right click to fix our bad spelling in the chat boxes if we mis spell something

@JaceofSpades, interestingly enough, the permanence of the forums kind of scares me because as people we change over time, and what if I don't feel the same way now about something I wrote an extensive post about before? :O

@poeticguy - GREAT question! I think my least favorite thing is that they still feel unaccessible to a lot of people, though hopefully some of the cleaning we have planned will help that. And also that because they aren't live, sometimes people might not feel heard or supported as quickly as they need to (though hopefully one day, that will be fixed, too!)

Forums are easier to handle and watch over unlike a chatroom. Also, people can go back to the forum post and re-read what was said which can remind them of something that may have stuck out to them. Along with, having more stable input and support from both listeners and members.

Edit: It also depends on where the post in question is. If we're in phobias and someone says they have a phobia of gore, and then someone else responds with a detailed response that is gorey... censorship in that case may be required. For the most part though, we don't want to censor people and we want others to feel free to express themselves.

@windnbreezy - another great question. To me a lot of it comes down to whether it's necessary for the meaning. If it is, throw a trigger warning up front. If it's not necessary and likely to be a huge trigger for a lot of people (because reasonably we cannot predict every trigger, but some things we know will be issues), consider editing. As an example, in the Eating Disorder forums, I edit out specific calories and weights because they don't change the sentiment of the post at all, but can be really harmful to the community of people struggling.

Edit: I try to describe my reasoning and see what the other mentor's reasoning is. I try to refer back to guidelines and whatnot. If absolutely necessary I will bring in a third part (i.e. another mentor)
