We are additionally excited to announce some new mentor leaders! The badges for theseroles are still being created, but I still wanted to recognize some awesome new mentor leaders! Congratulations all of you! This is really great :)
I am kind of wondering now what it will actually mean though.. I thought a leader would be more specialized and more active in the group he was a leader in. As I see now, these mentors have become leaders in all their mentor groups.. so if they would get more to do and get more specialized in all of them, how are they still able to breathe? And like, how many leaders will there be per group?
Because, if it's only 2, then no one else that is a mentor will become one again, since they are full then. But if it's limitless, then everyone will be a leader one day, and then what will the addition be?
I think it's great and that these people deserve it, really! I am just wondering what it actually says :)

A mentor leader is more specialized you are correct. There is no cap though on the # of rolse you can help with. So if someone wants to and qualifies for the mentor leader role that they would like to help in, that is great. Not all mentors will want to help in all of the mentor leader groups - but some will. I hope they are still able to breathe..lol!If any of them feel they have too much on their plate, we can evaluate and try to make this system better. The last thing we want is to over load our community leaders!
Right now, we are accepting nominations for mentor leaders. We have not set a cap on the # of mentor leaders will be accepted for each track. As our communitygrows, new projects will continue to arise. This is out first group of mentor leaders, we will continue to refine this process and make this role unique.
