Why did you nominate wonderfulRainbow817?
For going above and beyond and helping us interns to stay on track
We interviewed wonderfulRainbow817 to get to know them better!
What motivates you to be a volunteer? If I am able to help one person feel better about themselves whether it is a member talking through their emotions or a mentee achieving a goal then I've done what I've set out to do. That just keeps me motivated each day to keep being a volunteer. It is so rewarding.
Your proudest 7 Cups achievement: I don't have a proud achievement but more situational moment. I am so proud of when I have successfully helped an intern through the internship process and get to see them graduate. I went through the internship and know how rewarding it is for me so getting to see others do it and succeed is what makes me proud. I am proud of them.
Which fellow 7 Cups leader(s) do you admire and why? I often admire @Hope. She takes on so much but yet still gets it all done while making sure all feel supported at the same time. Going through the internship as an intern and now as a community mentor I have gotten to see the person she is and I am so glad I get to work alongside her on the internship team each day!
Which active listening skills help you when communicating with your teammates and fellow leaders? Two really important active listening skills that help are patience and open mindedness. One may be looking for an answer right away but the other person may not be able to respond or provide an answer right away. On the other side with open mindedness it is important to keep that mind open to different perspectives. Different perspectives can lead to new ideas or better ways of doing things.
What's next for you on your 7 Cups journey? I honestly have been pondering myself on what is next for me on my 7 Cups Journey. I have been thinking about becoming a Community Mentor Leader for a little while and want to keep thinking about it but it definitely is in the back of my mind. No matter what I do though I am looking to be positive and kind everywhere I go!

I also appreciate your emphasis on patience. We have a patience growth path that I sometimes use on my member account. Seems like everyday there is more to learn there.
