it was when I ate hot pot
my friends and I talked lots and lots

We threw in everything so the taste was a bit odd
😂😂
@kindLemonade
Hi Lemonade, I absolutely love your poem — really shows the radiance of happiness, intertwined with a good laugh! 😊
@kindLemonade Thats amazingly rhyming.
@Clarisse29
I absolutely loooooove writing poems, so this is perfect! Let’s see how this goes…
The Fragrance of Happiness
The bloom of a blossom,
Is the fertilization of pleasure,
The sweet motivator to lively pollinators,
And the rainbow to the naive child’s eye.
Happiness is the sensation of pleasure,
The key to an open heart,
Just as the pedals of a delicate flower,
Catches the eyes of a passerby.
What brilliance happiness can produce,
To a desolate and mysterious world.
Plant more seeds of happiness,
And watch the flowers flourish,
And hearts turn pure with delight.

I just came up with this on the spot, but I hope you enjoy it! 😊

You and me.
I used to get stuck in middle,
I used to be complicated as a riddle,
But you made me see the better part of me,
You teach me how to smile and be free,
Baby no one else did this for me,
Yes, you make me happy,
And make me cool.
They don't know this
As they are all fool.
It all happen when It was you and me,
Yes all just you and me.
@Clarisse29

"Whoa-oa, Mr. Wheel!
Don't you go
Aaany further now!"
The song I made for you,
Your name was Waldo,
Then someone called you Wheeldo,
And I started calling you Mr. Wheel sometimes.
It's a cloudy day just like the ones we like,
I'm not a big fan of vanilla ice cream,
But I'm eating it in the car because it reminds me of you.
The way you'd shiver eating it.
I miss it.
I miss the way we'd play hide-and-seek.
I miss how happy you'd get if I walked with you somewhere new.
I feel you more lately,
And I welcome you brother.
The only brother I ever had.
Even if you were a Schnauzer, you were a brother, not just a pet.
@Torean

@ThoughtfulBlossom
@Dallady
Ooo, I must had missed that line. Thank you for pointing that out! 😊
@Clarisse29,
As far as I can recall, it was at dawn, when time itself is nothing more than an expression that couldn't distinguish between months, days, dates and deadlines.
As they ceased their existence, it felt like all my life passed me by in a stream of infinite moments, and as odd as it might sound, I knew what would happen next.
It felt strange, reacting so calmly to what usually overwhelms me.
I remember thinking my life could have been over if only I had been more stubborn. Way too long ago, the feeling of the cold that nagged at my bones decided to forever stay. Yes, I sure remember the touch of my fingers running over my skin as if they were somebody else's.
And yet, there was no doubt: I felt no shame nor fear. For in that split second, I was leaving it all behind. How intense can it be, the mix of memories of sipping coffee, taking a shower, falling asleep? Ordinary actions, which, nevertheless, root me here.
There was a time when I decided to forget about eccentricities. Now I know there was nothing wrong with taking up some of them. After all, this world is vast enough for an unapologetic me to exist. And I am happy.
Slowly, the judge of time comes back to wrap itself around me. I watch the sunrise through the glass, filling the sky with colour: hues of orange, yellow and pink, blue and purple. You can do as you please. I choose to let them fill a new picture.
That morning I knew a thing or two. My smile held a secret. My life was a canvas that, though incomplete, would no longer go unnoticed. Come closer, admire the mistakes, and criticise the technique. Marvel at its forms and grieve over the ink. One day it will be complete, and perhaps you will understand.
I was nothing but a moment, and all of me will be lost in a new sunset.

The soft brown eyes that hold the world
Hold a world of stories
Hold a world of joy
Hold a world of pain
Hold a world of regret.
Making each day worth living
Because she is my world.
Her world is my world, she means the world.
She is my everything.
Icy mane, flowing tail,
freckled shoulders, soft back
warm breath on my face
Soft nudges.
She lets me know
She is there for me and I am there for her.
When we run over the sand
Spirits flying free
Pain disappears for a moment
Fear doesn't exist
Sadness is gone
Just two spirits
Free in the wind
Free in the world.

@Clarisse29 Thank you =3
Flashing colors, bright sunlight
Staying up too late at night
Running through shady trees, barefoot and free
You could've gone with them but instead you chose me.
Children, wild animals
I can still hear how you laughed
Ringing in my ears
God, I miss the past...
@CupoSad076
Oh, I would like to be tagged for future prompts.
@CupoSad076
Absolutely loved this one. So subtle yet powerful
@TryingTBH2021
Thank you so much! <3
Back then there weren't many things that came in my path,
A few bumps here and there but other than that nothing really ever happened there,
I was so young and didn't understand what toxic people and sociopaths were,
Smile always on my face and would do anything to make others happy,
I miss that old part of me.....I lost that part a while ago,
I lost that part of me when that day came so long ago......(not really a poem or anything but here...I'm tired, bye-)
