Academy Awards May 2024

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. It is time to announce all our nominations since our last post. Academy Awards is a way for trainees to acknowledge mentors and other academy personnel for all their hard work. 

Any trainee can nominate anyone who is affiliated with the academy except admins! This involves academy trainees, alumni, mentors, mentor leaders and ambassadors! The person must have directly supported you in some way with your academy journey but academy leaders can nominate each other if they see someone working hard/going the extra mile.

So whenever you come across any such person, submit a nomination for them! It will be posted with the next post.

Now time to reveal the latest submissions! A huge thank you to all who submitted their nominations. I know it's hard to remember sometimes but it makes a difference!!

SirenOfSerenity

• Siren is very supportive and kind. I am glad to have Siren as my CDM mentor.
• Siren is a supportive and friendly mentor. They supported me throughout my graduation journey.
• Serenity was great and she's full of compassion she is the best mentor here and I adore her

• S/he's been very supportive and was always there when I needed assistance.
• DanCat is more than patient with me, when I was confused in my Internship path she was the light to me. :)

WeEarth

• WeEarth was my mentor during leadership training. It was no easy task for WeEarth to work with me due to my dyslexia, causing many physical challenges that required alternative approaches to assisting me. WeEarth continually worked very hard to help me each time I struggled to get over hurdles that blocked my progress. Not being at all tech savvy like so many, WeEarth rose to the challenge by coming up with multiple ways to help present this material and graciously taught me how to use this technology for the benefit of the 7 cups community. I'm still learning and growing in my understanding and use of technology tools, but without WeEarth's faithful help, I'd have fail miserably. WeEarth has been exceptionally patient, continually helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile! I believe WeEarth should be awarded for all that WeEarth has done and continues to do, so that I might be a part of this very special team of individuals. I do not know what other badges WeEarth should receive, but I definitely believe a helping handicapped badge is well deserved!  

WarmLightXO

Warmlight is encouraging and supportive. They helped someone with a mockchat and even encouraged them to work on their further development through the Quality Listening program. Warm helped in finding the right academy program!
