Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. It is time for our forum get-together. These get-togethers are a way for us to connect with each other. It's important to have opportunities where academy leaders can interact with each other and share their thoughts and opinions.

How hot is the weather for you?
The Philippines just entered the rainy season earlier this month, but our summer in May was ultra hot! It was painful to the skin and my family and I liked staying indoors. Now that it is the rainy season, the weather has become cooler. It is so cold, my cats have begun to sleep in little cat piles. 😄

How are you spending your summer?
I am spending this season studying free online programming tutorials and math. 😊

@Hope The weather is cool here in India. Monsoon has already started and I love this season. Very cozy and comfortable feeling for me
My plans for the season is to study. We always have to study haha

How hot is the weather for you? It's coming onto July, so the weather isn't that hot and there's the occasional rain. It's supposed to be monsoon season by the way!
How are you spending your summer? Well, I'm studying to get my Diploma in Counselling- that's pretty much it. I'm actually looking forward to Christmas for two reasons: 1) All the Christmas goodies and 2) Applying for university next year to do my bachelor's in counselling.

How hot is the weather for you? - So far it hasn't gone past 85 degrees F which is more than hot enough for me!
How are you spending your summer? - Tons of self care, shopping and beach days

Siren, you might melt in Indonesia. Temperatures between 82 and 90F are typical of our weather year-round (most places) 😅

Cherie, okay, um how are you not melted??? 82F is 27C, and 90F is 32C. Anything above 25C (77F) is considered too hot, and I start complaining. Literally can't sleep in that weather without AC. 😅 Anything above 30C (86F) is considered heat warning here. Then again, I'm the same person that runs around outside in -20C temperature in winter.

Ikr! It's too hot even for most of us xD ac is a need here. But I have finally come to acceptance and gratitude that we are lucky to have free sauna (high temp + high humidity) everywhere we go 😅

How hot is the weather for you?
Here in Florida it’s been mainly humid and sometimes raining a lot Other times it gets burning hot outside So it’s generally hard to be outside during the day but the mornings and evenings can be nice

mainly working my new job, doing the group support program and contemplating on studying counseling or coaching.

1. I live in Buenos Aires, in the Southern Hemisphere, at a latitude similar to Cape Town and Sidney, or Los Angeles, Islamabad and Shangai but to the south. We are approaching the coldest time of the year. It's a mild winter so far, temperatures ranging between 10 and 15 degrees celsius approx. Humid but not rainy.
2. I spend my time working, doing my 7 Cups tasks, meeting with family and friends, going for walks, reading, watching video courses, and taking as much time as possible to relax sipping tea, to reflect writing down ideas, and meditating. Listening to good music too.

Summer is scorching hot, but the rest of the year is nice down here.
And yes, I do many things, but not all of them every day, and some are about slowing down and "smelling the roses".

Hi Hope, Thank you for the get together.
In Tbilisi, weather like to switch every 6 hours. currently, we are alternating between overall very hot day and overall a rainy day. As for my summer, right now I am in just one week away from semester finals. I am planning for a academically productive summer break after the finals but I think we all know how that is gonna go xD I am 80% sure I will spend most of the day on the bed/couch watching movies, shows and eating everything i shouldn't hehe

When I read your post, I immediately browsed Tbilisi and wow! Tbilisi is sooo pretty and some places in the videos I watched literally look like they belong in a Disney movie 😍

How hot is the weather for you?
The hot weather is a mess here in Canada. The area I'm in currently has the worst air quality in the world because of the smoke from wild fires.
How are you spending your summer?
I'll be spending my summer working on a hackathon project. 😊

Sad to hear about the air quality condition where you are and places that affected. Hope you have a way to staying safe (as safe as possible health-wise). Good luck for the hackaton!

I'm laying low. Just hoping I don't wake up one day to an evacuation alert. A city 4 hours away already got evacuated cause wildfires hit them, so I know reality is I'm not too far away from active wildfires right now. And there's no real escape.

How hot is the weather for you?
BLAZING HIP HOP AND R&B. It's hot. LOL. Unbelievably hot. I live in the midwest where there is almost no breeze during the summer months. Just hot and humid. I miss spring so much.

How are you spending your summer?
Spending the summer working toward my Master's in IT and attempting some community building with 7 Cups. Applying for promotions at work. Will also be attempting to teach my daughter and her dad how to swim and moving soon so it's a season of progress and change for me!
