I actually found this thread because of a stressful situation at work. I was trying to get my monthly assignments completed which is stressful enough but today I got talked to about saving some information the wrong way. The lead told me "If you need additional training, let me know." I'd never seen the new "required" way to save information before so why would I reach out for extra training? And this new way just adds six extra steps for me. As if I don't have enough to do as it is.

During the course of a month, I generally do background checks on three hundred customers. And that's not counting people who have existing files. I also have to log transactions over $10k from four states every day. Not difficult but time consuming as I have to pull reports from four different places and sometimes have to wait on other people to save the reports.

I can't question it or say anything because I'll be viewed as argumentative (because it's happened before). It just irritates me. If procedures change, don't just let your friends know, tell everyone. Like last week, we found out that the approval amount for wires had changed. It changed in mid-April yet no one knew about it. My department and another department had no clue about the change.

I try to stay focus on my studies but it's getting harder to keep in mind that this job is only a temporary venue. I've only been there two and a half years but it feels like fifteen.

I am thinking “it’s hard to retrain anyone who hasn’t been properly trained to begin with!” How about they actually do it right the first time with training people - NOT your fault.

I found the whole thing, stressful. Limited support, because most of the people are injured, including myself making it to work within a reasonable time. Demands by too many project managers. Overworking oneself to the point of their own personal exhaustion, machinery not functioning all the time I get tired of troubleshooting the same thing over and over again the 25th the time so the machinery works. why were use the 1970 technology. Really?

I’m struggling with this hard lately. I have deadlines every 2 weeks I sometimes struggle to meet beacuse I’m in meetings so much and constantly get asked for help. I need to work overtime often just to get my own work done. On top of it I have meetings where people ask me multiple times a day if my work is getting done which stresses me out more than it probably should.

Teammates who do not work as a team, then expect me to do everything including what could've been a shared task. Colleagues who only catches little things you did wrong (or not to their liking, not exactly wrong), and never be thankful for the things you did above and beyond. Colleagues who take their anger and frustration on you for things that aren't even a big deal, then ruin the atmosphere, because I often take it personally and feel depressed for the next 5 days. *Sigh* just came over this a couple of days ago.
