What is your favorite (or recently enjoyed) TED Talk?
The one that has me thinking right now is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's talk on the danger of a single story.

I have two, one of Hana Kanjaa https://youtu.be/o-6LxVNLimY
And the other one is in spanish of Victor Kuppers
My favourite TED Talks:
Clint Brown - The power of silence
The power of silence is incredibly inspirational to me and I need to refer to it often to ensure that I'm not being 'silent' in myself
Susan Cain - The power of introverts
There is a well spread belief that extroversion is most desirable in the modern world. I enjoy any talk that argues against it and respects all people for the value that they provide.
There's a third one which I can't recall at the moment.. I'll try and post later.
The third one
Brene Brown: The power of vulnerability
This flows on from the danger of silence sort of thing. Being the type that actively needs to manage anxiety, much of my day is spent challenging vulnerability and if I do so, my anxiety is well managed. This talk speaks to that truth for me.
I've watched that one several times! the first time was in Social Justice class for the Social Work program I was taking.
The ugliest women in the world. :)
I saw this in my juniour year of highschool in English and it is still one of my favourites! It is called We need to talk about an injustice by Bryan Stevenson. c:
@Anomalia I am so excited this is a thread, thank you for posting. I love TED Talks! My favorite by far is this one which proposes a transparent way of populist voting for elections using the internet so we can effectively count votes directly from the people and not rely so much on government for elections to prevent corruption: https://www.ted.com/talks/david_bismark_e_voting_without_fraud?language=en
It's called "E-voting without fraud" by David Bismarck
I was taking an online class in Edx on Thinking101 and this TED talk came up in the lesson. It's very interesting. It's about how our memory can be twisted and made up by fault information.

"What I Learned From Going Blind in Space" by Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield. I highly recommend it.
