I am aware it hurts ourselves to not be able to sincerely love ourselves the way we deserve it.
The world, the society may pressure us to meet certain standard to feel enough, but let's always remind each other that we are enough 🤍🤗
@SirenOfSerenity @Clio9876 @Compassionheart89 I'm happy to hear you have found a way to give yourself love that you deserve.
It's a continuous journey and you all have been taking the steps.
I hope we can continue supporting each other to one day, we can smile and genuinely love ourselves, for better or for worse 🤍
@SoulfullyAButterfly can we have a huddles to work on self-love, self-esteem and self-compassion, perhaps? 😊🙏🏻

- On a scale 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the best: how would you rate your self-love?
I give 4 as I am starting self love journey. This year I could actually feel love for myself, feel that I could love myself but still have a lot to learn. It is a huge progress I was not waiting for and that stimulated me to keep working on it.
- Despite the flaws, how do you manifesting self-love that is empowering for yourself?
I created what I call "inside friend". It might seem crazy but it is myself, with my voice, telling me good things to help me, as a friend. It is a new form of self talk that helps me with my negative self talk and that has showed to be really powerful in difficult moments, as long as I was open to listen and feel the good words and advice.
I also stop when I can to read self love affirmations, or choose the ones I like from a big list I wrote from a course about self-love.
I'm at a 3 right now but I think it's because I have too much free time right now
Self love rate: 8
Encourage myself to keep on doing my best. Have quiet time for myself and home spa day always helps. Taking care of the body.
Cup of water is next to my little bench, and posters on the wall. Nice bed to sleep in.

This is a good thread, Cherie. You've asked some really good questions 😊

Despite the flaws, how do you manifesting self-love that is empowering for yourself?
- I've accepted all my weaknesses and focus on improving myself.
- I don't blame myself when I can't change something, especially if it's something I've no control over.
- I don't let minor setbacks get me down.
- I'm able to laugh at myself.
- When I fail, I learn from it and avoid repeating my mistakes.
- I've also realized that when you're at peace with yourself, nothing others say or do can hurt you.
- I make time for self-care activities. Even on busy days, I meditate, jog, journal, play a musical instrument, or watch a funny show (even if only for a short time).
- I rest when I need to.
- I surround myself with people who're not overly critical, who practice self-acceptance, have good intentions, and are kind.

I would rate it 7 because sometimes deep somewhere I don't really believe in myself or I feel like I am not enough but I try my best to love myself and believe in myself
I try to accept myself as I am because I believe everyone is unique and pretty in their own ways. And I can do anything I want ❤
@ouiCherie, Well I know when I lost many family members to illnesses. I had to learn to be my own emotional support anchor. I would meditate to calm my mind and help process these heavy-weight emotions I had. My family fell apart and blamed each other throughout their grieving process. I talked to different people and looked for help for myself even if my family isn't interested in helping themselves.
Self-love is a 7 or 8 out of 10.
All about taking care of oneself and having fun once and a while. Go to the beach, go for a walk, sleep in, or dance to some music. embrace yourself without judgment.
7 Cups on the desktop right now.😊
