I love this topic @ouiCherie!

  • On a scale 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the best: how would you rate your self-love?

- I'd say I'm at a very honest 9, I'm my worst critic at times but I snap out of it and give myself the self love and positive self talk I deserve.

  • Despite the flaws, how do you manifesting self-love that is empowering for yourself?

- My high level of self love helps me choose peace over chaos in many situations I'd go out of my way to make even worse with my reactions.

@SirenOfSerenity

Awesome! I'm glad you have found a way that fits you best to snap out of it before it go further down the road.

You are right, oftentimes we are our worst critics, beat ourselves the hardest and create our own storm.

Seems like this topic haven't been much explored, e.g., self-love when you feel not _____ enough. What do you think?

🔥 Don't rate anything. You're priceless. Remember, living is priceless; life is priceless. Rating things is unnecessary.

🔥 How do _ manifest? By stopping ourselves talking much and eating much. When your gut is happy, you will be calm and you are free to ecstacy.

@ouiCherie

maybe like a 3 or a 4 but i've been trying to feel like a 5 or so but it just feels like false hope. However, I really do envy those who can truly love themselves, because are the hardest on ourselves. And thats not easy to come by.

I rate it a 2. I'm really harsh on myself and it hurts.

Giving myself self-love gives the opportunity to do something brave. It motivates me to do something/be happy.

I love the idea of needing to be brave to love myself. That's a helpful idea, thanks. I will be braver for myself in the future.

@ouiCherie

Hi, Cherie,

  • On a scale 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the best: how would you rate your self-love? It's below a 5. I put myself down a lot more lately.
  • Despite the flaws, how do you manifesting self-love that is empowering for yourself? I want to be pretty so I try to make myself look nice, and it makes me feel a little good.

Let's break the ice some more:

🐼 What's on your desk, nearby wall, or out of the window... Out the window at my place it's nuts. My next door neighbor dug a moat between our houses. I think he thought he was digging a ditch for rain run off, but he messed up. It holds standing water. That is out one window. Out the front window are the remains of my beautiful flowers. The apartment community recently had some idiot come through and power wash the buildings. Whatever he used left my gorgeous plants looking like someone used a flamethrower on them. There are also 3 new born kittens. The mother cat is keeping them outside my windows, behind a bush. Sometimes I open my front door and there they are...3 little beautiful kittens. They're only about 4 weeks old.

🐼 Say it with GIF I'm not at coming up with gifs, so I'll pass.

@ouiCherie

I've read some helpful ideas in the comments to this post, so thanks for initiating it.

  • On a scale 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the best: how would you rate your self-love?

I would rate myself quite low. But because I'm determined to do better at self love and here's an opportunity, I'm going to rate myself a 7 and say I'm doing great.

  • Despite the flaws, how do you manifesting self-love that is empowering for yourself?

I try to take the time for myself. Like here: taking the time to recognise my achievement. A 7 isn't a 10. But it's a huge step up from a 3. So I am proud of my 7.

Special thanks to the person who pointed out it takes bravery to challenge the fears I have about myself. They gave me the courage to stand up for my 7.

Feeling so good about it, I might change that to an 8. 😃😃😃. Thanks for a wonderful start to my day. You are all amazing. ❤️.

@ouiCherie Hey!

I would rate it a 5, and I am sure soon i'll make it a 10 because I dealt with bullying and stuff but I am stronger then this. I'll make it through. 😊

I'd say 5/10. usually whenever I think bad about myself I counter attack them with positive one because I know that those bad things about me aren't as bad as I claim. But yeah I still have a lot of these self hate thoughts and I always criticize my body so I'd say a solid 5/10

I'm at an 8 currently, but my work schedule is currently lighter so I'm a little anxious for when it picks up again. I cultivate self love by maintaining good personal hygiene, investing time in that stuff, exercising fairly regularly, even if it's just a walk, eating healthy food, and maintaining a reasonable social life too.
