How one moment as I walk, my brain tells my feet to pick up at just the precise time I need to, to clear rocks and anticipate the movement of my furry walking buddy, and in the next moment, the whole mechanical process of walking falls apart, and I am on the ground. How conscious my awareness is, in an instant, of my brain's activity to keep me vertical, and what might have occurred in the interim between cruising along and getting close and personal with the ant hill in front of my nose.

how parts of a human body are formed before they are born, eyelids, nose, fingers. It’s all so fascinating to think about

That the normal human has three cones in their eyes but then there are tetrachromats that have at least one extra cone.

@Hope it blows my mind how extremely important the little blood cells in our body are. People spend everyday without ever thinking that one small change to the blood cells, or the loss of or too much of blood cells, and their whole life would be different.
