Just as @blissart has suggested above, that this site has a free chatting with active and empathetic trained listeners.
The target audience definitely will be people seeking for emotional support, but maybe I can specify it for migrants - they are far away from their families and may not know who to turn to (either because they don't have many friends in the new country or because now they live in a different timezone from their families).

I think the majority of my chats are around 3 themes - loneliness, feeling unloveable and break-ups. The middle one is the most heart-breaking, so finding a way to promote a sense of worth by being part of a community may be not-quite-ready-for-prime-time. I wish I had more time to volunteer, as I think I'd spend more time developing that particular forum area.

I agreed, self-worth issue plays a big part in creating or adding to many mental health issues and end of relationship is tough.

That's a great idea. I think understanding some of the things that "all listeners need to know" about specific cultures (like American values versus the tradition of arranged marriage) on this global format would be helpful. I find myself googling a lot to make sure I don't say anything inappropriate. Would be a great topic for chat room discussions among the listener community.

I would promote the supportive framework and community on 7 Cups and emphasize it as a supportive factor where you can find online support. The target audience might be teens and young adults.

I would promote the fact that 7 cups is an amazing place for teens to be able to talk about their mental health with someone anonymously. My target audience would be teens 🙂

I'd promote with words like 'Be a Compassionate Listener to Someone. 7cups.com is a chat-based platform to let you help and support someone through their mental health struggles.' My target audience would be everyone I know, or can potentially reach.
