A Gentle Note on Grace and Tolerance 🌿

I’d love to share two meaningful lines of Arabic poetry about patience, grace, and the art of overlooking small flaws:

​الصَّمْتُ عَنْ زَلَلِ الصَّدِيقِ كَرَامَةٌ

وَالحِلْمُ طَبْعُ الصَّادِقِ الـمِعْطَاءِ

​مَا العِزُّ فِي رَدِّ الإِسَاءَةِ، إِنَّمَا

تَعْلُو النُّفُوسُ بِعِزَّةٍ وَصَفَاءِ

​Translation:

Remaining silent over a friend's misstep is true dignity,

And tolerance is the mark of a sincere, generous soul.

Honor lies not in returning an offense,

For souls rise higher through grace and purity.
