Think a cheap lil individually wrapped pastry (never tried one before frying tbh). It's like pastry with cream inside. Deep fry it, add a crispier layer of breading that way. Then drizzle chocolate syrup and powdered sugar on top <3 A warm and comforting pastry! <3

Americans LOVE our macaroni and cheese! Hehe. Pics go from Kraft mac and cheese (a well-known brand), to shells (I love shell mac and cheese; the shells collect cheese much better than the regular noodles), to homemade. We sometimes literally judge each other by how we make our mac and cheese hehe

Deviled eggs:
Hardboiled eggs. Cut in half. Yolks are smushed and mixed with mustard, mayo, and seasonings (paprika is a common one), and the yolk mixture is put back into the egg white. AMAZING <3

there is something South Indian related to it :"Motte masala" origin - barma. but famous street food, served with Atho. ( Indian culture thread FMI ) but they sprinkle or stuff some spice blend instead 😋✨
But I'm sure it kinda taste's way different.

S'mores. CLASSIC American treat!
1. Stick marshmallow on a stick and roast over a bonfire
2. Put it between 2 pieces of graham cracker like a sandwich, and put chocolate (typically Hershey's) in it too
3. Eat it like a tiny sandwich <3

SET MARSHMALLOW ON FIRE
Blow out fire
Pull off crunchy charcoal bit and eat that part
Re-roast soft inner part
Repeat hehe

How about Chicago dogs? Lots of people might know the general idea of a hot dog, but making a proper Chicago dog is more precise.
You want to use a poppy seed bun, an all beef hot dog, top it with yellow mustard, onions, sweet relish, and celery salt, and line it with two small tomato slices, a dill pickle spear, and sports peppers. I've made them before. It's hard to get a good one at a restaurant, so I recommend making them, it's easy.
Some of those ingredients can be substituted for availability and taste, but the proper way is popular for a reason. They're just really insanely good, with a balance of flavors and a decent kick of spice. The one real rule is that ketchup is absolutely not allowed on a Chicago dog... I'm not even exaggerating when I say that a lot of Americans would consider that downright disrespectful. 😅

I think you're talking about the sports peppers. They have a nice kind of tartness and kick. 😁
As for what they taste like? Not really a sandwich, (I guess not terribly far removed?) but several tiers better than the average hot dog.

@jesusredeemedme2425 My late mother used to make these for xmas dinner. Puffed pastries with minced meat/puffed rice filling. Served as an appetizer in bouillon bath. Not so fancy but tasty. Made my own this xmas with added onion chaff and mushed eggs added to the filling ☺️

Candy buttons!
These are crunchy candies stuck to paper. You peel them off the paper and eat them. You WILL eat paper. And that's ok lol! Just don't think about whether the paper is edible or not (prolly not lol)
