I know a dish Confit de Canard (Duck Confit) idk how or what it made up of. so.... i googled it 😄😄
a classic French dish, originating from the Gascony region, made by salt-curing duck legs and then slowly cooking them in their own fat until they are tender and succulent.

It is very buttery, garlicky and meaty ... even the bread has butter, I sure they put butter in the babies biberon. Anyway I'm from north of Italy not very far so we also have lots of dishes charged with butter like risotto from Milan but I wouldn't have it every day, just once in a while...I love my olive oil, I can still enjoy my food with it and not have a cardio attack 🙃 but the butter hmm...I must say it is temping as temping as some french men...some...not all...so choose your buttery dish wisely, make it worth it! Don't get the first touristy trap that comes along. Take some time to find the proper restaurant and learn how it is meant to be done.

They are similar to a light thin pancake. You can have them with about any meal… or dessert
