What is your favorite language?
I thought it would be really interesting to ask everyone what their favorite language is! Of course, there is no right answer and one language is not better than the other, but please put your favorite language and why! Excited to hear all your answers! 🌍

I also like Japanese and Spanish.

@fruityPond7887 My favorite language is English. I feel i can best express myself in English and i can talk to people in this language very fluently than the others. English is my go-to language

@fruityPond7887 It is my first language. Hindi is my country's national language
@yourbuddy30 I am so so sorry I literally didn't see this until now! Wow, you learned English before you learned your country's national language? That's so cool to me! What made you do that? Just family?
@fruityPond7887 No worries at all fruity. English is something I find myself more comfortable in. Although Hindi too is important. And English is universal language so why not

@chocolatebunnyy, I feel really happy hearing people say this. It was my first language growing up, but in the small town I was born in, I was told to "forget" the language...They treated us poorly there, my mother was an immigrant and my father's race is considered part of the minority in this country...
I grew up hating Spanish at one point, because my family from my mother's country would mock me, since I forgot it, and my mother was abusive to me[verbal, physical, & SA...]. I associated the language with her, and didn't want to speak anymore....
But anyways, thank you. I am happy you find the language beautiful. :) I like it a lot now too!
@ImpudentIncognito I am so sorry to hear about your relationship with the language and that you had to go through all of that. You are not alone and you are so strong! I am happy that you are learning to love the language again and change what it means to you! 😊

For me it is Arabic. i love reading poetry in Arabic, I love french food and I admire Spanish and Italian languages.

Hope your day is going well! If you asked me years ago, I would tell you German because I have a lot of family ties to Germany. Although I would love to learn German (but don't have time for it), I would say Spanish is my favorite. Especially nowadays because one of my closest friends is a native Spanish speaker, and it's fun to have "secret" conversations, haha! What about you fruityPond? What's your favorite?

My best friend is from Brazil and speaks Portuguese, so it's been fun learning some words when she talks to her family! I think my favorite language is sign language because it's just so different and there's so much amazing culture behind it! I took it in college as well!
I only know the mere basics of ASL and have always wanted to learn, though I don't have the time and am afraid I won't have the practice. I think it's a really cool and interesting language! Best of luck in learning new languages!
