Orlando Nightclub Tragedy - Discussion & Support
Early this morning a mass shooting occured at a gay night club in Orlando, Florida. Recent reports site that 50 people were killed and many more injured.

I am deeply saddened by this news report and wanted to create a space for us to talk about this tragedy and support one another. Please share how you are feeling here and lets have a supportive discussion that lifts our hearts up and honors those who have been impacted.

@Versatchy I do agree that a "neutral" and international website may not be the appropriate forum for discussing individual views regarding news and politics. However, as you stated, 7 Cups is a support site, and a critical emotional/mental network for everyone. And there are many, many people across the globe that need this community's support to process their reactions to and feelings about this event. So long as no one begins to push for a discussed political agenda from any one side of the issue, I believe this thread will prove incredibly helpful for folks seeking to air their grief, confusion, shock, hurt, and all other emotions they might need to work through. And I think that is something the entire membership of 7 Cups can get behind.
@Versatchy U are entitled to your view but I don't agree with u.... Violence today is rampant across the globe and all of us and every possible forum should take it up !!! Terrorism in not only Pakistan & India but at every countries' doorstep, ISISI menace in Europe and these senseless shootings in USA..... Hightime we all speak up n out in a loud and unanimous voice which will echo like a ' Roar of the Lion ' throughout the Universe !!!

I am just sooo disgusted by what happened... NO ONE deserves this. Not the victimes or the grieving friends/family members. The hatred honestly makes me so sick to my stomach. I feel for everyone... I am deeply saddened by this..

It's really scary to me that what is often the safest place for MOGII people, especially MOGII people of color, was turned into the most dangerous place for them. To be targetted on their own turf, so to speak, is horrifying.
I'm so shocked 😞 it's really sad to see such an horrible things happen in our world!!
I gave my heart and support to the families lost😞
my brother was at the club that night..i dont know if he survived..

It sad to what happened in the Orlando shooting and Christina's death after her concert. I've shown support throughout my day for everything that happened in Florida.
I am so glad this thread was started....
There is so much of tension, depression, hatred, and intolerance in society worldwide today....
We surely, each one of us, have a stellar role to play in supporting, aiding and spreading love n understanding amongst the Children of God...
Don't judge accept people
Don't hate love people
Don't label or generalize each and everyone is a precious flower in this Divine Garden.....

Please know that I am celebrating.
ONE person caused death, destruction, fear, anxiety, hate, and loss. But our community has created pages and pages of love and support. This to me is something worth celebrating. We won't be in the news like he will. We won't be discussed like he will. We only hear of the horror from the media but once you look past, you find support and love.
