Just sad right now
I suppose we all learn true hard realities every day. 7 cups is the only site I ever use, I don't use any social media. I don't exactly socialise outside of this site either, my living situation is great, but no-one around my age. And I don't go outside of the house I live. No friends or family. Then I came here, and I've learnt so much ❤ I'm a very open person, who can share a bit to much in times. I think I've shared to much on this site, maybe my problems are to hard for everyone to hear, or accept. I just want a safe place, where I can be myself and make friends, just sad right now

@Torean I'm a resident in a old folks nursing home, friends my age ain't gonna happen. But that s ok cause I have cups, a place where I can open, be silly sometimes and meet great people ❤ well that's what I at least thought!

Anyway, I for one wouldn't mind it having to be in a place like that if I could feasibly visit you. 😉 I think it does make things hard to always be around older people. And to not be able to really get out. The best I can do is be supportive and suggest things, but I wish I could help make those things get better. Is there any way you could get out and do something if you had your caretakers with you?
@Torean maybe, but I don't think I'm brave enough to go out yet, people are scary. But I'm very happy, I'm so grateful for this life I have now. I'm safe, free and I love it here ❤ ❤ and it's cool cause we get to hang out on this site and be goofy together😁

Super glad that you have all of that and being goofy with you is a staple of my life right now. 😁 Not all people are scary... You probably wouldn't run into ones that are. But it's definitely understandable that you have a lot to work through with that.

If I was living in that nursing home with you, we'd do fun and silly things and I'd make sure you always had a friend you can rely on. I never felt you shared too much. I accept you for who you are. You're the best!

@Tinywhisper11, look at all of the love you are getting. This is because of how beautiful your soul is, of how kind you are to others. The fact that others can't tolerate hearing about what you've been through, when you've actually been through it (which is far worse), says poorly about them and not you. Just think about that. You actually went through something, they merely have to hear about it, and they make off like you're too much as if you were the one with the problem. That makes no sense.

Don't think that you can't be yourself, that alone is something that nobody can take from you. You are a very caring person, you have helped me during my times of need and I extend the invitation to try my best and do the same for you.
It's tough feeling like you do, I am in the same place myself. Just know that I am more than willing to hear you out and try my best to turn that frown upside down. You have done so much for others and it's time that favor is returned, so if you need to vent or just chat feel free to contact me.
There was a fortune cookie that I got a long time ago and it has always stuck with me, even if most have found it to be funny it had deeper meaning to me:

I see this as I see charts or sound waves. At the moment, we seem to be in a downward pattern, it's a very tough pattern to be in but it can't last forever. Some advice that I want to give to you that I wish I could use myself is this: take any small victory of your day and celebrate it, find that little sparkle of light and hold onto it as it is yours and yours alone. Again, if you want to chat don't hesitate, if you need to vent air it out, if you feel like yelling at someone I am good at receiving that as well😅
