I love going outside on my family's swinging "bed" aka it unfolds down into a flat bed. I love laying there listening to the lawnmowers (sound puts me to sleep XD) and just feeling the breeze on my face. Only bad thing is that I have allergies to grass and trees so I always feel bad afterwards. Totally worth the breeze though.
A positive is my friend and I were able to communicate and express our troubles in our relationship in a calm matter. We were able to fix things and our relationship is doing great now!
I have taken on a lot of roles here on 7 Cups and I have to manage the new ones with old ones. Sometimes I feel I am not doing enough in each role and that my team will suffer because of it. I don't know if I just need a self care break or if I need to drop a role. I am hoping to figure it out this week.

I had to reply to this part " I have taken on a lot of roles here on 7 Cups and I have to manage the new ones with old ones. Sometimes I feel I am not doing enough in each role and that my team will suffer because of it. I don't know if I just need a self care break or if I need to drop a role. I have held many roles over my years here at 7 Cups so I wanted to respond to your words as so many listeners fall into the trap of taking on too many roles, There are several things you can do which may help, talk to your mentor, or a mentor involved in the teams. Talk to one of the admin staff, maybe @Hope our Dean of the Academy or one of the Ambassadors that oversee your roles.
If I can help then please just pm me and we can go over a few things to help you prioritise.

Thanks @MistyMagic for the words! Surprisingly it is my smaller roles that are catching up to me, mainly in one sub-community so I may reach out to that leader and take a break.
@wonderfulRainbow817 Sounds a good idea!

@wonderfulRainbow817 Ooh that bed thing sounds nice! I look forward to just feeling some sun on my skin soon!
That's awesome you and your friend were able to strengthen your relationship! It can be hard to discuss conflicts.
I think you have been doing great but totally understand how it can feel like too much. Sometimes I feel like it would be nice to have a half role like ooh I like doing some things here and some things there but I can't manage the full role for both! I think Misty has given better tips than what I could, know too that most of the other volunteers here understand no matter what you choose!
@AffyAvo Thank-you for that check-in. The links were very helpful especially the raised beds info :)
Listening - One Step At A Time!
@MistyMagic Thanks! I'm glad you liked the information, I actually hope when a community garden here is built they can incorporate a lot of features to make it accessible to more people.
@AffyAvo I particularly liked the tips for making a sensory garden, with different fragrances and textures. Far too often small changes that could make a massive difference to accessibility are overlooked which is a terrible shame.

Like to go outside all time go hikes and to the beach and helping with garden flowers and stuff my mom likes plant lot of things and me and my brothers and daddy help. And like to go to the park especially my brothers go with me too
positive thing happen is do interview here @MyNameIsNicole ask me lot questions I answer all of them everyone is proud of me!!
But support is bad thing happen and people they were very mean to me and have to go to the police tell them what happen and it very scary and I think will send me to jail I wish people are not mean because I don’t know why they think is fun to hurt me.
@theboymoana
All those outdoor things sound like a lot of fun!
Congrats on the interview it went really well I thought!
That's awful that people were so mean that it means getting the police involved. While the police are not perfect, I do think most of them want to protect people from being hurt, so I think it's very unlikely you will be sent to jail. I know reporting can be stressful, hopefully you have good people who can help you through that!
@AffyAvo
This time of year I enjoy weather that allows me to go for a walk in nature.
Something Positive that happened this week is I had an intake interview for at-home services to help me with my disabilities.
I would like support with the Community Calendar being up to date about Disability Group Chat meetings and Subcommunity leaders being available to talk with about Community Calendar Scheduled Chats being hosted and lead by subcommunity leaders who are qualified to do so.
I would like more support in the group chats. I would like more support from subcommunity leaders.
@DichotomousDetia That's great that you enjoy getting out for walks outside!
Hopefully the services will make your life a bit easier.
Noted on the group chat discussions, thanks for letting me know, I will pass on that info as I can change that myself. For now, I know of nothing planned, so any disability events in the community calendar right now are likely out of date information. Sorry if you showed up for any sessions that didn't run! I can't be in the chatroom regularly, but if my vision cooperates hopefully I can do a few things in there in the next little while. We do have a forum thread for upcoming discussions that for now we are waiting to see what will occur, I will try to keep it current as things get planned! https://www.7cups.com/forum/DisabilitySupport_47/Events_201/2022DisabilitySupportRoomDiscussions_268222/
If a forum discussion post ever needs to be updated please do reach out, sometimes things do get overlooked.
@AffyAvo
Great thank you! I've been advised several times to reach out to you in particular about the meetings but your profile does not seem to allow messaging so I've been in frequent contact with a variety of the other subcommunity leaders who assured me they would talk to the team.
I will check out this forum thread, thank you for providing the link!
