Hi Nahoa,

That's awful. You've told me about your experience in school, but every time I read about it from you- it always hurts to know you were treated that way. No one should be locked in a room.

Your mum is such a great parent. She's helped you get better at writing, and reading, even with your confidence. You've worked really hard too, you've come far.

I know you're anxious about going to the centre, but I want you to know we all get anxious. The only difference is, some people still push forward despite that anxiety.

I believe this place can be a good environment for you to learn new things and meet people. You'll never know if you don't try.

I'm here whenever you want to talk, this community is here, and most importantly- your family is there for you❤️

Take care!

I'm a mom and have finished schooling. My children have gone back to school which means I am now healing from their needs all summer. My goal is to stay consistent with my self care practice

@lishalu0606 Ah yes, for parents, the back to school season can be a bit of relief. How has the self care routine been going so far?

Thinking about going back to college. Thinking it through and my budget needs. Not sure when my first day will be.

I am not a fan of night classes, but wish there where more options of class times and more teachers. Bummer when they can't offer courses no one can teach.

Goal is make it to another day.

I deal with epilepsy and migraine. I manage as best I can. I have had improvements. It's all good so far.

@MoonLightShadow423

Hopefully you are still here so more than 1 day! Yes, a variety of class times helps for what fits students (and those teaching) well.

I wish you luck on arranging the funds for school! That can be a big task!

Im starting my senior year at Lesley University online in two days. I’m never out. I’m wondering if I’ll have all the time I need to complete all my tasks and that I’m smart enough to complete them all.

@Bluekimberly How are the online classes going? Are you finding the tasks challenging?

My first day in college was last Friday. I changed my major again to creative writing due to my physical health.

I know that my school has accommodations that I can ask for but I'm scared to because I don't have any diagnosis. I know that I can just get a note from my doctor agreeing that I have these problems but I am still anxious. I've never done it before.

My goal for September is to get a few physical tests done, but to also be able to go to my classes and stay at school all day and be okay.

I'm just generally struggling with the pressure of going to class, staying at the school all day, and managing my physical health at the same time.

@crystallizedrequiem I understand how difficult a full day of school can be while managing health concerns. Hopefully the accommodations come through easily, I would hope the diagnosis doesn't matter too much, as long as the doctor can communicate what you need.

The 20th of September was supposed to be the 19th of September and what schools do is give us work experience. My goals for September to work and I would like support with my weight management.
