What do you wish everyone knew about your disability?
I can still have sex, just because I walk different or my range of motion isn't like everyone else's; doesn't mean I can't have sex. Everything works fine down there.
Because of my depression, I often know I'm being irrational - but I can't help it.
Though I look healthy on the inside I don't always feel that way internally. My body sometimes feels horrible but I keep going.
*externally
@blueNest5196 i know how that feels..
PTSD autism and anixety and stress I wish my dad knew about jt all he knows is about my autism I always made fun of jn school called a retard also more more more problems coming in my life it was never enough and I got more more attacked being stalked and sexual harassment and assault
@dhabib
People can be so nasty. I'm sorry you're going thru it.
@UnwantedChick thats true something offensive being called a retard and i got a hamsa necklace today from the mall it protects you from negative spirits and negative vibes and i followed you online
@UnwantedChick
@UnwantedChick true its in words and a lot of things hurt
A lot of people probably have something similar too and just haven't been diagnosed.
It's a disability, not a choice! It's not my fault it hurts to walk or do fun physical things. And yes I may seem moody or irrational with my weird fears and depression but if you're my friends/family you have to accept that!
Felt good to say that!
@vivelespatates
I wish that people would understand what schizophrenia is and ways to cope as well as not being so judgemental...
That it is real I'm always scared but just because anxiety isn't seen and I hide it doesn't mean I can run and do something new everyday
That my chronic physical pain is not "not that bad". I'm not screaming all the time out of pain, but it never, ever goes away, for the past 5 years. I've lost the ability to be able to both work and do the things I love the most - play instruments and write novels. I have a desk job and the sitting and typing makes it worse, so I can't spend more time doing stationary, fine motor skill tasks. I regularly plateau with my physiotherapy. It's not "bad enough" for surgery, but it is so, so wearying to never be without pain.
@pinkrice
i don't understand chronic pains but since u explained what it is, I sort of understands what you meant. You're used to constant pains, it's there but it's not always painful enuff to say ouch? I can't imagine what you're going. I hope one day that pains goes away.
@UnwantedChick
My chronic pain does make me say ouch a lot lol. But it's been going on for 5 years, so I'm just very used to it being there... I'm able to keep going to work, but it's just always there.
And thank you. :) I hope it goes away someday too.
That mental illness , like depression and anxiety is deadly... that instead of laughing at them, me... they should try to help. That we are not people who seeks attention! And we are not parasites in this world!
