Do you remember that here at the Disability Support Community we started looking at pain and chronic pain in more depth? Pain? P A I N? PAIN!PAIN!PAIN!PAIN?
Well I am pleased to announce that our Pain Café sessions have started and are well on the way now!
So what is a Pain Café?
- A warm and friendly, informal session led by a host who will share prompts to lead the conversation on different aspects of fatigue and pain, chronic pain, how it affects us, how we are feeling and of course what we each feel helps us whether it is meditation, medication*, or mindfulness!
These will take place in the adult Disability Support room. So please do drop in and say hello and join the session where we share our feelings and thoughts over a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate complete with cookies and cakes.
At the moment this is only taking place in the adult Disability Support room but if there is enough interest then I hope to roll this out to the teen room too! We are looking for more people, members and listeners to join our team so that we can host more Pain Cafe sessions. Let us know if you would like more information.

please keep us informed on this we can not make it on sunday at 11am as we not be home from church. but would like to be kelp updated on this too we live in pain 24/7 have for years
