Getting to Know Someone is a Beautiful Process
What is at least one thing about yourself that you wish more people knew about you?
I tend to come off as rude/snob because of my social awkwardness but if people ever manage to get to know me and become good friends with me, I would be a REALLY GOOD friend, a generous, loyal and caring one at that. It may sound like a generic trait but everyone who knows me irl mostly know me as a very awkward person and see me as an acquaintance. I have SO MUCH love to give but not a lot of people to give it to :'(
@KoyaRj0903 that has happened to me because of my sarcasm and the fact that I can be abit loud. But I grew up in a sarcastic family with a sister who is 11 years older than me and very outgoing, the same now with all my sports and church groups. If I'm not loud, I'm not heard. people tend to take this the wrong way sometimes and it caused me to become the very guarded person I am now.

(> ᴑ <) maybe in that case you can say, I'm not interested, hehe & also, there are some tips on internet that misled people, it says if one does not want to make eye contact ( (& keep a straight face, no smile) that means they are nervous & thry like the other person >○< lol (while in fact, it means 'no' )
Oh I can tell them I’m not interested and that doesn’t deter them *rolls eyes* I had to report an older male coworker the other day for always hitting on me and calling me “my love”
Probably that I really do care even when it seems like I don’t. Everyone shows compassion and empathy in different ways, but I think sometimes people are looking for very specific characteristics. If these aren’t displayed it’s easy to judge that the person is uncaring or not empathetic but that’s not always the case. I do have to try harder to be kind. My initial response is usually blunt and pointed, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to form kind responses. We also form judgements based on what we see, but it’s only the tip of the iceberg really. 😊
That actually just gave me an idea for a novel—what if we could judge people by their brain activity rather than just what we see on the exterior. 😆💡

@jesusredeemedme2425 that as much as we want people to be simple they're often not. People are complex and they carry whole worlds and experiences with them. It's not ok to keep asking people to mask so everyone else can be ok. We have to be ok too and we need to show up for ourselves.
