2025 successful event
What is the most successful event from 2025 for you?
Please reflect and describe. Would love to hear your stories 💛
----------------
For me:
It was fighting against perceptions of some of my family members while working on few things collectively. It was basically about teamwork and that involves everyone having a clear sense of their roles and I was doing a lot of communication to establish those roles but everyone was just doing their own thing and that made things unbelievably hard for me. July was the month of immense pain. I felt like things couldn't ever get worse than this.
And then - viola! It all picked up again.
Everything ended up working out rightly in the end! It was a pleasant surprise. Everyones inputs helped. My resilience paid off. A lot of different strategies I had used helped (both myself and others).
And the best part is all the main ideas I had planted around turned out to be the correct ones with all my family members acknowleding my wisdom in the end. I felt God put me through a trial of faith and leadership that I emerged victorious in. So I am grateful because tests are what I truly need to demonstrate my character and evolve along with everyone else.
Also this event gives me tremendous hope that God will continue to empower me on the journey ahead. I just feel tears of happiness within me thinking about the journey from January to December.

My greatest joy in 2025 was the birth of my nephew, who's a joy 🥰
The worst thing was losing my friend very suddenly in a tragic quad accident, it broke my heart.
The grief has been tough.
And I've spent most of the year in the hospital, multiple appointments with my father and mother, trying to care for them both and never let them feel like a burden.
I'm proud of the effort I'm putting in 💖💖
Creammy I'm proud of you 💜🥰

Im more proud of you. The kind of grace you carry in servicing family and community both is inspiring.
Tragedies are ... just that: tragic. They shake you up and moving through various stages of grief you arrive one day at accepting the will of God with humility... not ever being able to know the complete meaning of things, yet trusting the Source ...
Im glad your nephew has connected you to a higher plane of love. I can relate. My nephews and nieces have changed my heart in ways I could never imagine 🙂

I guess there were a few things that happened within the last year that could be counted as successful but I think the most successful event that happened was getting a varsity letter award for soccer. Being on varsity level was my one and only goal since I didn't achieve that last year. I think I proved to myself that I could push myself to accomplish things I didn't think I could do.
@IzzyGamer yaaaaay! That's awesome news💖😁 congratulations💖💖
@Creamyyy I'm so glad things started turning out good for you, things always seem to have a funny way of working out ok 💖 you have a beautiful heart and a beautiful way of thinking💖 you should be very proud of yourself, I'm very proud of you 💖 hugs you tightly 💖 I love you 💖
I love you too. Every time I hear from you, I feel peace and joy of being close to your loving heart 🙂

Your journey inspires me. And, thank you for sharing and prompting.
My proudest achievement of 2025 was allowing myself to reflect.
I reflected on a lot of things. Rarely did I think of myself. When I did, I thought about myself as a relation to the other.
A lot of it was philosophy. Logic and reasoning from first principles. I was once proud of it, but, upon reflection, it's hard to imagine ever bringing it to light.
It is about truth. Reason. Logic. Time. I didn't quite know why I was so taken by such things, but it was interesting, and it made me feel better.
I was once
Completely numb
Logically alive
But without feeling
I checked my sum
Nothing but scripts
Programmed by society
Where, how, why am I?
Why now?
Thirty six years
Trusting this
To mean something
Anything
For a just minute
Even a second
Of worth
To stop the second guessing
I gained a tick
But didn't punch the clock
I asked it
About all its tocks
I found a feeling
By rediscovering
Reasoning
And clearing
A little mystery
At least, seemingly, for me. I can't take it seriously anymore. All of my philosophy became a personal truth that I struggle to trust. Sometimes, I think it is totally wrong.
I don't mind. I'm not trying to be wise. I'm not trying to know things. I was just tired of being tired, and now I feel alive.
These days, I write stories and poetry. I've attended two spoken word poetry nights, and people seem to like me. They even talk with me.
But, I realise my tragedy: how can I grow accustomed to being liked when all my glaring flaws glow?
