Am I the Only One Who...?
Hey everyone 💚
I’ve been thinking lately about how often we feel alone in our thoughts — like no one else could possibly feel the way we do. I wanted to create a space where we can break that silence.
This is a thread where we can all finish the sentence:
👉 “Am I the only one who…”
Whether it’s something deep, awkward, random, emotional, or just super specific — share it here. Chances are, someone else will relate.
✨ A few examples:
-
Am I the only one who feels drained after being around people, even the ones I love?
-
Am I the only one who finds it hard to celebrate my own achievements?
-
Am I the only one who overthinks literally everything?
You’re not weird. You’re not broken. You're human. 🫶
Feel free to reply to others too — a simple “me too” can make someone feel seen. 💬
Let’s be real, be kind, and remind each other that we’re not alone in how we feel. I’ll go first in the comments ⬇️
With care,
[Eman144] 🌿
@Eman144
this is so nice idea emmy💛
Idk what else to write so i’m just gonna go ahead with the sentences…
Am i the only one who feels as i’m faking my emotions, even if at times they feel so real?
Am i the only one who feels too much and too strongly, yet like numbly?
Am i the only one who feels guilty of my every action and criticize myself abt them?
Am i the only one who finds it hard to understand what ur feeling and if ur even feeling?
Am i the only one who feels as attention seeker and deep down selfish person?
Am i the only one who feels like i actually don’t feel care for others, even when i try to make myself care through the words i say?
Am i the only one who feels i shouldn’t be talking out my mind, that i’m okay, and that hearing from ppls struggles makes me wanna shut up forever cause i feel hateful towards myself of what stupidy i rambled out?
Am i the only one who doesn’t know what i really feel or want?
Am i the only one who feels hate coming towards me even when real proof speaks other way?
(:
Probably to be continued… some day
thx emy for that thread✨✨🦔
@Tsuk
Thank you for sharing this so honestly. 💛 You're definitely not the only one who feels this way. I think a lot of us struggle with these kinds of thoughts, but we rarely say them out loud—so it means a lot that you did.
The mix of feeling too much and feeling numb, questioning your emotions, your worth, and even your kindness—it’s something I deeply relate to. It doesn’t make you fake or selfish, it makes you human. And honestly, the fact that you’re reflecting on it like this already shows how much you care.
Please don’t feel like you have to shut up or that your thoughts are stupid. What you shared was real, and it matters. You matter.
Thank you again for coming here💛💛
@Tsuk you’re certainly not the only one ❤️ “Am i the only one who feels guilty of my every action and criticize myself abt them?” This part really resonates with me
@Tsuk Am i the only one who feels that nobody really cares?
@mysteriousSalamander5619
ur not alone with that
@mysteriousSalamander5619
You're not the only one who feels that way—many people go through moments where it seems like nobody really cares. That feeling can be incredibly isolating, but it doesn't mean it's true. Sometimes, the people around us do care, but they don't show it in the way we need. Or maybe we're going through something so heavy that it feels like no one could possibly understand.
If you're comfortable, it might help to talk about what's making you feel this way. I'm here to listen, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
I relate to almost all of this. I never read anything that felt so true, for the feelings I always go through but never felt confident enough to say out loud.
I hope you find peace in your life.
Me too
Up till now, I still feel like I don't know what I want. So you aren't alone.
@Tsuk i feel too strongly all the time, when it gets too much i just start to feel numb too.
@Eman144 am I the only one who feels extremely insecure and dumb… Am I the only one who keeps constantly comparing myself to others within my age group and feel like am behind and I’m a failure and that I haven’t accomplished anything in life nor perfected anything and even in studies they’re better at absorbing information than me?! Am I the only one ?!
@Doaa20
You're definitely not the only one who feels this way. So many people—more than you’d think—struggle with these exact thoughts, especially in a world where we’re constantly exposed to other people’s achievements and highlights.
It's okay to feel insecure sometimes. Comparing ourselves to others is something our minds tend to do, but it’s not a fair or helpful measure. Everyone’s journey is different. We all grow, learn, and succeed at different paces.
What you're feeling doesn't mean you're failing—it means you're human. Try to be kind to yourself, acknowledge the small wins, and remember that you’re doing better than you think. Perfection isn’t the goal—growth is.
You’re not alone in this. And you’re definitely not a failure. 💛
@Eman144 Thank you I really needed to hear this especially today❤️❤️I’ll keep telling myself this until I internalize it.
I feel the same ❤️
@fossilfellow I feel better knowing I’m not the only one struggling with this 🫂thank you
No you're not. I'm 21 and I feel like this ALL the time, specially when I look at people like Millie Bobby Brown or other celebrities my age whom have done more than most 30yo I know so I get it and I'm here for you
@Doaa20 me too! you're not alone in this ❤️ i feel like you just expressed my thoughts in words for me...
Thankyou! I wish you the best <3
@Eman144
Am I the only one that believes that together, we can end existential dread and process the trauma it causes?
@cyanessence
You're definitely not the only one. I believe collective healing is powerful, and acknowledging existential dread as something we can process together is a hopeful and meaningful step
@Eman144
It means so much to me that I'm not alone in this pursuit. If you're interested, I took a jab at coming up with a meaning for life. It's in the Motivation & Accountability section of the forums.
I believe existential dread is a trauma we can all relate to and should address. With the therapeutic power of collaborative reflection, we have a chance to see the light.
@cyanessence
Thanks for sharing your thoughts—I really appreciate your passion around this. I’m focusing on my own process right now, so I may not engage directly in the thread, but I do wish you the best with it.
@Eman144
It's enough that you share my interest. Gives me tremendous hope.
❤️
@Eman144 Hello I may have just met you & before I begin mine I want to say thank u for making this & spreading the word. 🩵 Shayla
"am I the only one who feels as though your bf doesn't want you to go back to something u love all because of your past & don't understand why?"
@XOShaylaXo
Hi Shayla 🩵 — thank you for your kind words. I’m really glad you reached out.
What you said hits deep, and no, you're definitely not the only one who feels that way. It can be incredibly hard when someone you care about doesn’t support you returning to something you love—especially when their reasons are tied to your past, rather than your present growth or who you are now.
If he’s holding onto parts of your past more tightly than he’s supporting your future, that’s not fair to you. Love should help you feel free, not boxed in. You deserve to pursue what brings you joy and peace, not feel like you have to dim your light to make someone else feel secure.
If you're comfortable, it might be worth talking with him about how this makes you feel—honestly, gently, but firmly. And remind yourself that your healing and passions matter.
@Eman144 that's a really lovely post. Thanks for asking us this question.
For me I'd say --- am I the only one who feels life is so terribly hard...
Absolutely not! I’m there too <3
@Creamyyy
Thank you for sharing that so honestly. You're definitely not the only one who feels that way—life can be incredibly tough sometimes, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. I'm really glad you felt comfortable enough to say it here. You're not alone, and it's okay to talk about it.💛
@Creamyyy not at all, I feel it too. But I also feel at times that it is so enjoyable!
Am I the only one who listens to others to feel important.
@AutxmnWillows09
You're definitely not the only one who feels that way. Wanting to feel important or valued is a very human thing, and sometimes we seek that connection through listening to others. The fact that you're reflecting on this shows a lot of self-awareness. You're not alone in this.
@AutxmnWillows09
I do that too🫂
Your definitely not alone in that one as I do the excact same thing
Am I the only one who feels that life is not enjoyable and meaningful?
@Nightgaze10
You're definitely not the only one who feels that way. A lot of people go through periods where life feels heavy, empty, or lacking in meaning. It takes courage to admit that, and you're not alone in feeling it. Sometimes just sharing it, like you did, can be a first step toward finding connection and
@Nightgaze10
definietly not the only one. I find it hard to find any real meaning in life too and i lack the joy it gives. 🫂🫂
Am I the only one who feels unlovable
Me too, bud… Me too.
@jesusredeemedme2425 💜
@jamie19989
You're not the only one who feels that way. A lot of people, at different points in their lives, struggle with the feeling that they're unlovable. It's a painful and isolating thought, but it doesn't mean it's true.
Feelings like that often come from past experiences—hurt, rejection, trauma, or even just long periods of loneliness. But they don't define your worth or your future. You are not alone in feeling this way, and it doesn't mean something is wrong with you.
If you're open to it, talking with someone—whether a friend, therapist, or support group—can make a huge difference. You deserve love, connection, and understanding just like anyone else.
Am I the only one who feels SO alone? :(
@jesusredeemedme2425
I don't know what it is about you Kiara, but I feel like you're a kindred spirit. I know we're just strangers on the internet to each other, but it feels like we have a lot in common.
I don't believe you're alone. Take solace in your faith and remember that Jesus is always there for you. Don't forget the people close to you, whether online or in person. I can see how deeply interconnected everything is.
I agree with that <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
You are not alone in feeling this way. Many people, at some point in their lives, experience deep loneliness — even when they’re surrounded by others. It doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you. It means you’re human.
Feeling alone can be incredibly heavy, and I want you to know that your feelings are valid. Reaching out, like you’re doing now, takes strength. You’re not invisible, and you’re not forgotten. There are people who care, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.
If you'd like to share more, I’m here to listen, without judgment.
