I had mentioned yearly traditions and one is coming up soon.......

I love making a great big pot of chili and sharing it with others. I make this at least once a year and everyone gets a hot meal on Halloween 🎃 👻. It's a nice tradition and others don't have to cook that night. 

I like watching the movie "Hotel Transylvania" on Halloween. It's not scary, but still kind of goes with the Halloween theme 😊.

Halloween night, I already start thinking about decorating for Christmas 🎅 🎄. November 1st, I start on decorating and singing Christmas Carols in hopes that the majority of decorating the house is done by Thanksgiving. 

Thanksgiving brings watching "The Wizard of Oz" around that time for a tradition. I even start sneaking in some Christmas movies 🎅🎄too. I make a big Thanksgiving meal, relax afterwards, enjoy the Christmas decorations, pretty twinkle lights and consider the many things that I have to be grateful for.

it's London Bridge by Fergie right now. I don't know why but i gotta dance when it comes on the playlist!

Happiness that I found today......😊 ❤️

I've done a little bit of research on crows. I think they are pretty fascinating, highly intelligent, as well as kind. 

I've been "sitting on" the thoughts of interacting with them. How to, why, how not to upset them, etc. The biggest thing that has been holding me back is the fear of doing something wrong, offending them while not meaning to. My understanding is that they are highly intelligent animals and that they will never forget a kindness or your face and they will also never forget a misdeed (they hold a grudge and forgiveness is not something they do). And, lol 😊, if you offend one of them, crows are serious trash talkers and your name will be "mud" with all the rest of the crows. 

"Begin as you plan to continue" is a concept that I hold strongly to and so I don't start things that I can't be consistently reliable for. 

Also, when the universe speaks, I listen. 💫 Seems as if the universe spoke today. A crow came to visit me, sat on the railing of my deck, was calling loudly and stayed there until I came outside. 😳 Sounded like an invitation to me. 😊

Right on crow, lets do this! 😁 I went outside, they flew to the roof and watched me. I presented food as an offering for them to see in my hand and then quietly placed it on the rail where they had perched earlier and then, I went inside. I guess we'll see what happens now. Wait and see approach sounds nice after them initiating.

Thank you for initiating today. Thank you for making the choice for me when I had been questioning myself for awhile. It was very nice to meet you. I hope you like my offerings. I'm not pushy, I'll take a wait and see approach. Trust won't be given by you, it will have to be earned and so I'll give you your space to make up your mind.

If you return, I'll change up the treats, things for your diet that you might like, things that might be really good for you. I'll leave enough for you as well as enough for you to take home to your friends and family.
