Hi! My name is Amelia nd I’m 15 years old, I struggle with managing my emotions, especially when I feel overwhelmed or under pressure, overthinking nd sucidal tendencies I’m trying to understand myself better and learn how to cope in healthier ways.

I’m a quiet and thoughtful person. I like reading, listening to music, and spending time in calm environments. I tend to think deeply, and while that can be a strength, it also means I sometimes overthink and carry things inside instead of speaking about them.

I also hope that, in my own small way, I can support or encourage others here too. Thanks for reading till here! 🙂

@RoseMoon3786

Thank you for desiring to want to help others.

Welcome 🤗

It can be difficult opening up but bottling up strong emotions only causes us to suffer in silence.

You are not alone here 💕

Hi Amelia 🌱

Thank you for sharing something so personal—what you wrote shows a lot of courage and self-awareness, especially at your age. Many people struggle silently, but you chose to speak, and that already says something powerful about you.

Being thoughtful, quiet, and deep-thinking is not a weakness—it’s a gift. Yes, it can sometimes lead to overthinking, but it also means you feel things deeply, notice details others miss, and have a strong inner world. With the right support and tools, that depth can become one of your greatest strengths.

It’s really inspiring that you’re trying to understand yourself and learn healthier ways to cope. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but every small step—like being here, reading, writing, and reflecting—counts more than you may realize. You’re not “too much,” and you’re definitely not alone in feeling this way.

I also love that you want to support and encourage others. Often, the most empathetic people are those who’ve felt deeply themselves. Just remember: it’s okay to let others support you too.

If you ever feel like talking, sharing your thoughts, or just sitting with someone who listens without judgment, there are kind people here who care. You deserve calm, understanding, and moments of peace—just as much as you give them to others 🌼

Wishing you gentler days ahead, Amelia. Take care of yourself, one breath at a time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. @BeWise4Happy Your words really touched me, and I felt genuinely seen while reading them. I didn’t realise how much I needed that kind of understanding until now. It means a lot that you recognised my effort and reminded me that being sensitive and thoughtful isn’t a flaw. I’ll hold onto what you said, especially on harder days. Thank you for your kindness and encouragement — it truly mattered

Hello Amelia.

I was you 25 years ago. But I didn't reach out to anyone and I kept everything hidden from the world and numbed myself. I am so glad that you wrote this and I can never know what is right for you but i am so hopeful that you will avoid some of the troubles I got myself into and that you will find your places. I am cheering for you Amelia.

@RoseMoon3786 Hi Amelia, thank you for sharing so openly. It takes a lot of courage to put your feelings into words, especially at 15, when everything can feel overwhelming.

The way you describe yourself as quiet, thoughtful, and someone who enjoys calm spaces shows a lot of self‑awareness, and that's a real strength, even if overthinking sometimes makes things harder.

It's completely okay to feel scared or pressured by emotions; learning to cope in healthier ways is a journey, and the fact that you're already reflecting on it shows you're moving in the right direction. You're not alone in this, and reaching out here is a powerful step.

I hope you keep holding onto the things that bring you peace, like reading, music, and calm environments. Because they are anchors you can return to when life feels heavy. And the kindness you want to share with others is already shining through in your words.

@RoseMoon3786. Do you like to write I have struggled like you since I was 5 I'm 37 now but I find that writing helps a lot I'm even currently writing a three book series I hope to get punished when done also finding things to settle your brain or distract that part of your brain that runs a mile a min like Xbox works for me I can focus and it draws my brain in and instead of telling me all the different ways things can go wrong it shows down and I'm able to just focus on the game not everything else
