🌷 How Are You Really Doing 🌷
Hi everyone! 💛
I wanted to create a little space where we can slow down for a moment and check in with ourselves. Sometimes we go through the day saying “I’m fine” even when we’re carrying a lot inside. So this thread is just a gentle reminder that you don’t have to pretend here.
Before anything else, I wanted to introduce myself for anyone who might be new here! 🌱
My name is Lex, and I’m a listener here on 7 Cups. I joined because I truly care about creating a space where people feel heard, supported, and a little less alone. Everyone deserves to have someone listen to them without judgment, and I’m really grateful to be part of a community that tries to do that every day.
Now for the check-in. ✨
Take a deep breath for a second and ask yourself honestly:
💭 How are you really doing today?
You can share however you feel comfortable:
🌸 one word
🌸 a sentence
🌸 an emoji
🌸 or a little vent if you need it
There’s no pressure to be positive here. However you’re feeling is okay.
I’ll start: today I’m feeling a little tired but grateful to be here with this community. 🤍
If anyone needs someone to talk to, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I’m more than happy to listen. You’re not alone here. 💛
Much Love,
Lex 🤎

mini vent! no trigger warnings //
i feel like ive done nothing to deserve a break, even if im sick. is it so wrong i dont want to get off the couch today because i have some kind of virus that makes every part of my body ache? i dont know. i continue to listen to others tell me that "in the real world, there are no sick days"
im tired. im so tired. i have so much to do and no energy for it. im struggling in every way i could be right now
but i guess my spite and my anger keep me living, you know? im tired of people not respecting what i am and how i feel -- and minimizing me every chance they get. im going to get over this, im going to work and get caught up and then im going to take a real break. because damn everyone who says i cant. *** ***

Hey, I just want to say… I see you. It’s completely valid to feel wiped out and achy and still feel like the world doesn’t give you permission to rest. You deserve a break even if it’s just staying on the couch today. Being sick isn’t laziness, it’s your body telling you it needs care.
I love your honesty about the anger and spite keeping you going sometimes that fire is what helps us survive when the world keeps pushing back. You’re not weak for needing rest; you’re human. Take that time when you can, because you absolutely earned it, even if nobody else says you have.
And I really hope you give yourself permission to rest without guilt. You’re doing enough just by surviving this moment. 💛

I’m feeling… a weird mix? The usual stress is still there, I’m kinda scared of the future 🫤 But right now, it is ok 🙃 Not much I can do about it. I feel a little numb, not in a good, but also not in a bad way. I really don’t know 😅
Thank you for checking in on everyone 🌸✨
@Butterfly723389 It's okay to not have it all figured out right now. You're not alone in this ❤️ I'm sending you lots of love and *big hugs* 🐾💕
@fossilfellow hugs received! Thank you’ ☺️💞
@Butterfly723389
I hear you it sounds like you’re in that strange, in-between place where stress and worry about the future are there, but also this numbness that isn’t really good or bad. That feeling can be confusing and a little unsettling, but it’s okay to just sit with it for now. Not every feeling needs to be “fixed” or solved immediately. Sometimes, acknowledging where you are and giving yourself space to feel even if it’s a weird mix is enough. 🌸
It’s brave of you to check in and share honestly about how you’re feeling. That kind of self-awareness matters, even when it feels small. And the fact that you’re okay for this moment, even just a little, is something to hold onto. Life can throw a lot at us, and it’s natural to feel uncertain or scared about what’s coming but you’re doing your best in this moment, and that counts.
Thank you for checking in on everyone too it’s really special when people create a space where others feel seen. 💛

Rrunning my store right now on shrimp hibachi and a blood orange TCH gummy to keep the anxiety at bay.
Busy day, beautiful weather in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

@nicmidnight
Sounds like a full day! Shrimp hibachi sounds amazing 😋 and that blood orange TCH gummy sounds like a nice little calm boost—sometimes a bit of self-care is exactly what gets you through a busy day.
I hope the beautiful weather in Northeastern Pennsylvania is giving you a little extra energy and brightness too. Here’s to a smooth shift and maybe sneaking in a moment just for yourself amidst all the busyness! 🌞🦐✨
Thankyou for your concern..today I'm ok
Tbh I’m just stressed out a lot and everything feels overwhelming.

I hear you. Feeling stressed and overwhelmed all the time can be so exhausting it’s like your brain and body are running a marathon that never ends. 💛
It’s okay to acknowledge that it’s a lot right now. Even just admitting it is a small, brave step. Try to give yourself a little grace today, even if it’s just a few moments to breathe or step back from everything. You don’t have to carry it all at once. 🌸
I am feeling emotionally drained
@dynamicTree4312 *hugs* ❤️❤️
@dynamicTree4312
I hear you. Feeling emotionally drained is such a heavy, exhausting place to be. It’s like every little thing every thought, every interaction, every responsibility takes more energy than you actually have, and it can feel endless. You’re not weak or failing for feeling this way; it’s a real, human response to everything life is throwing at you. 💛
It’s okay to admit that right now, you need rest mental, emotional, and even physical. Sometimes the world expects us to keep going, keep performing, keep “handling it,” but your feelings are valid exactly as they are, and they deserve to be acknowledged. You don’t have to push yourself to feel okay, or to fix things immediately. Just noticing your exhaustion and giving yourself permission to feel it is an important act of self-care. 🌸
Even if you can’t take a full break today, small moments of compassion for yourself matter. A deep breath, a quiet pause, or even just saying “I’m tired” is enough. You’re allowed to need space, to feel depleted, and to honor that need without guilt. You’re human, and being drained doesn’t make you any less strong it makes you real, and it shows that you’ve been giving so much already.
@LexListens2025 overwhelmed, stressed, ready to explode, cry and scream all in one.
@tuequoiseWest2306 I'm so sorry you're feeling this way 🙁 Please be gentle on yourself 💖 You're not alone in this ❤️ Sending you lots of love and *hugs* 🐾💕
Me too , me too. But well be alright sooner or later hopefully
@berrycheesecake90 I wish the best for you 🥰Sending lots of love and *hugs* ur way 🐾💖
@turquoiseWest2306
I hear you. Feeling overwhelmed like that like everything is hitting at once and you’re ready to explode, cry, and scream is so intense and exhausting. 💛 It’s not weak or dramatic to feel this way; it’s your body and mind telling you how much you’ve been carrying.
It’s okay to acknowledge that it’s too much right now. Sometimes life piles on so fast that all you can do is hold on and let yourself feel it fully, even if it’s messy and raw. You don’t have to push it down or act like it’s “manageable” for anyone else. Your feelings are valid exactly as they are. 🌸
If you can, try to carve even the tiniest space for yourself to breathe, to release, to let some of that tension out safely. Sobbing, yelling, shaking it out whatever helps doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. You’ve been strong for so long, and even the strongest need to let it out sometimes.
You’re allowed to be exactly where you are, feeling exactly what you’re feeling. And even in the chaos, you are not alone. 💛
⛈️🌪️😬
@berrycheesecake90
im right here, you don’t have to feel all this at once. 🤎
Ty 🍀💖
I am feeling a bit down because I handled situation poorly because I didnt understand the other person's side of the story and got mad before asking questions. But I also feel loved because the person proceeded to talk through everything anyway and make sure we were both okay before leaving.
