I ate without reading or being on my phone at lunch, and I think I ate a lot less :) I also wasn’t as bored while I was eating as I expected. Although I did have to eat crackers afterwards, because I’d been eating with a stomachache and esto my up eating too little.

For dinner, I portioned myself out some food so I wouldn’t overdo it. I ate a bit more than i shouldn’t have, but I didn’t feel awful afterwards like I normally would :)

I'm with you. I have a hit and a miss right now, but I did put one of my meals away and out of access for leftovers. I'ma improve on doing that first

I need to do that more. Put food away so I don’t have access to it when I know my body is done…

@jesusredeemedme2425 is it possible that the way to beat your overeating would be to stop fighting it and being a little bit kind to yourself? Like. Maybe a small experiment of eating for a week how you feel it without being hard on yourself could help? Like whenever you feel like beating yourself up, telling yourself it's okay. Food is food. You were hungry, you ate. It's okay. You ate as much as you needed. And your brain can possibly treat food like it's a problem and doesn't know when you get more because you are not on a reliable eating schedule so it feels the need to stack up? I would suggest to try this guilt free intuitive eating for a week and see what happene

But I don’t eat as much as I need. I eat to excess and make myself feel sick. That’s the nature of my eating disorder.
